ELEMIS A Younger-Looking You, Pro-Collagen Gift Set

Amazon have bundled a number of Elemis products together - this review is for the A Younger-Looking You - Pro-Collagen range with the cleansing balm, marine cream, oxygenating night cream and eye renewal cream. I am a fan of Elemis skin care products and have always found them to be highly effective. The product information states that this is clinically proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles in 14 days. I have only just started my regime using the products so will check in again after using them for some weeks. However, I can already report that the products feel great on my ageing, dehydrated skin. My eyes do seem to have reacted a little to the eye cream - by weeping a little - but I may have applied too much.

In my previous review I wrote that this product is not suitable for oily or large-pored skin. However, I stand corrected. Whilst there is indeed Beeswax in this product, after doing my research I've discovered that it's suitable for all skins and acts as a skin softener, amongst other things. So I tried using it again. However, whilst it did leave my skin feeling very soft, I personally don't like the heaviness of it, hence I've remained with the 4 stars.

The presentation box is colourful and contains the product information. The box contains a tiny 0.1 fl.oz Pro-collagen eye renewal cream; 30ml screw top plastic jar of Marine cream Anti-wrinkle day cream; 50g screw top plastic jar of Pro-collagen cleansing balm (looks like Vaseline); Small 6ml tube of Oxugenating Night cream and a face cloth. The products only fill one third of the presentation box and are only sample sizes in my opinion. The cleansing balm looks and feels like Vaseline and has a really strange perfume: it feels very greasy when on my skin, the instructions on the base of the jar say to smooth over and massage into your face and neck and remove with a warm cloth. The day cream has a pull down label on the base of the jar that says to apply every morning to cleansed dry skin. The jar as a plastic cover with tab to pull open and smell slightly better than the cleansing balm but i wouldn't say the scent is pleasant. Both of the tiny tubes have foil seal on them. I found that the eye cream made my eyes water all day and irritated them even though i only put a very tiny amount underneath my eyes so i was unable to use this product. The night cream is the only product that i found to be okay. it soaked into my skin without leaving greasy residue and made my skin feel soft the next morning. The face cloth is poor quality thin cotton with overlocked edges.I don't think this set represents very good value for money. the box should be at least half the size that it is and the scent is very unappealing. I have used Elemis products before and found them pleasantly perfumed and easy to use but this set is disappointing in my opinion,

This is a good set and makes your skin feel soft and hydrated. Easy application and absorbs well. After only a few days my skin was feeling noticeably smoother and brighter. Great products, I especially like the eye cream. Would buy again and recommend.

whilst there are several accompanying lovely goodies in the box the collagen cream is a huge hit-smooth delicate whipped cream goes on lightly an-very hydrating and sinks in instantly and perfect for winter skin.. Beautiful product set and great value-it has been good to try the legend cleansing balm too

I am in love with these products! The pack contains facial cleansing balm which you apply and rub off with a hot cloth (also included), Eye cream, day cream and night cream.I have been using for 4 days now and my skin does look brighter. Can’t say I look massively younger but really impressed with this range and would contemplate buying the full size creams in the future (they are so expensive!). If your budget can stretch to it, this range is definitely worth it.

The Elemis Pro-Collagen 4-Step Collection is a good starter pack into the world of Elemis’ pro collagen skin care.There is a full face care set in the box; though it’s leaning towards trial sizes. Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm 50g Pro-Collagen Marine Cream 30ml Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream 15ml Pro-Collagen Eye Renewal 5mlThe instructions recommend using pea sized amounts of all the items (bar the eye cream); but even with thatI wouldn’t expect this set to last you weeks; it’s a weeks worth of creams at most. At 15ml the night face cream is going to run out very quickly.The Cleansing balm is really the only item close to full size. It does a great job of getting the day off your face; be it 24 hours on a plane or London Underground it isn’t a soapy sensation but leaves your skin feeling clean and fresh. So once you have achieved that it’s time to use the day or night cream.The night cream definitely leaves your skin feeling hydrated in the morning; or after a long flight. The marine cream is a moisturiser; it does a good job but waking up from using the night cream makes me feel better when I touch my face. The eye cream isnt something I have any feeling on…My introduction to Elemis came from BA; and you get smaller versions of some of these items in their amenity kits. The Elemis Pro Collagen collection is be a good introduction to their best products; if you are looking for a face care cream. In my experience Elemis pro collagen leaves your skin feeling soft and looking healthy.If you are looking for something to smooth and cleanse your skin and aren't sure what to use; this is a good place to start. just understand the full size packs are expensive. For me the cleansing balm is good but the stand out product is the night cream; which in the sample size only lasts a few days - but it really does leave and impression on you in the morning.
