It's small, yes, but it says in the description it's dimensions so I wasn't surprised...because I read the size. I seems strong and sturdy, which I like. It also can hold a single serve of most foods, but I think that depends on what it is you're making. I think it's a good product for how much it costs, it's also a pretty green and is a nice colorful additional to my kitchen. It does the job, it works just fine.

I reside in an assisted living where space is valuable. I chuckled when I opened this colander. The size is perfect for cherries. grapes. and one orange or apple. I leave it out in order to be able to see it during he day because it makes me smile. If I am to the point I no longer have room on a table/shelf for it. I will hang it on the wall.

Perfect size to strain and wash vegetables for about 2 or 3 servings. Drains quickly and easily. Easy, fast to clean. I use it every night. Solid plastic, not flimsy.

This small colander is perfect for washing small amounts of berries, etc. As stated in its description, it’s exactly 6” in width. I would have given it five stars, but they stick an unnecessary label on the bottom of it which takes a lot of time to get it and the glue residue removed. Ugh.

This is a perfect size for me, as everyday strainer to rinse little things such as berries, etc. It is durable material. Came in timely manner.

As a single, I only buy small amounts of food at a time so I don’t waste money. This colander is the perfect size to wash my fruits and vegetables prior to eating. It is very easy to clean and is sturdy.

i didn’t realize it was that small when i ordered it as i thought it was a normal size strainer..it does say 7 oz strainer but i didn’t realize that i just thought it was a normal size one so again this one is really small and it’s basically useless to me so i'm gonna see about either giving it away or just throw it out..it is a nice think strainer..there’s nothing wrong with it except it’s really small..its not your normal size strainer..hope this helps

Just what I needed, a smaller colander that takes up less room in the fridge. As the food in my larger colander gets used, I can move items to this one and use the larger colander for a new batch. This works so well, I got a few more.

I've been looking for a small melamine berry colander for our travel trailer so ordered this one. It's decent quality (not quite a sturdy as I was hoping, but it'll get the job done) and holds just under a half pint of strawberries or a pint of blueberries. The one I received was dark grey, not green like the photo.
