Emile HenryOil Cruet Bottle, Clay

Purchased two of these bottles along with the Emile Henry salt pig to display on my counter. Beautiful, well-made bottles with nice heft and no leakage, despite not being able to slide the cork lids all the way in. The cork lids don't sit flush with the top of the bottle, leaving the cork visible by a millimeter. Regardless, have had no issues with leakage or residue on the surface or bottom.

Pros: - looks great, feels great and it's a product I'll enjoy pouring oil from. - opaque so you can keep it on the counter in light - good quality product - came well packagedCons: - well it's relatively expensive, but it is French and rather a specialty itemJust to be clear (pun intended), it's a lovely item and will last for years, however it's guesswork filling it and expect some overflow (wiping the bottle with fresh bread is a recommended cleaning method :)). It's opaque and I'm happy with that. It means I can leave it on the counter where the light can't degrade the oil inside. Bye bye Trader Joe bottle...

Terrible quality. Oil sweats through the sides and bottom of the bottle. Every time I pick up the bottle to use it, I get oil all over my hands. And I have to leave the cruet on a coaster so the cruet doesn’t leave oil rings on my countertops. Would not recommend. Very disappointed with the quality given the brand reputation and cost.

The pouring spout allows you to pour a tiny drop of oil or thinly coat a skillet. It is just the right size for most people's hands -- so it is easy to hold and use. The cruet is also a beautifully made piece of pottery. I had looked at many different glass cruets, but I choose this one because of its design -- beautiful and comfortable to hold.

I cook a lot and EVOO is a biggie at my house. I saw a few chefs on The Food Network with this exact olive oil bottle, so I thought it must be pretty good. I do like it, it has a good flow, but it is so much smaller than the listing made it seem- maybe I just had a larger image in my mind. I will have to refill this more than I am used to, but that is just fine. I ordered the charcoal color and it really is beautiful. I do recommend this item!

It's the perfect size and looks great in my kitchen! Very sturdy too. And I have had so many oil bottles that the top falls into the container never to be retrieved...this one has cork around the spout, and it's a little over sized so it doesn't go all the way into the bottle. Yet is has a tight seal. It made my day!

Perfect, just as described , only better. Rich color. Excellent quality. Can't wait to use it. Would recommend Emile Henry products.

Le contenant est beau et s’intègre très bien dans le décor. Cependant, l’intérieur n’est pas vernis donc poreux et l’huile passe au travers le fond et accumule l’huile sous celui-ci sur le comptoir.

Wertig verarbeitet. Optisch ansprechend und es tropft nicht. Bedenkenlos empfehlenswert

Practico, funcional, pero sobre todo estético y muy lindo.

Opaco y perfecto para mantener el aceite en perfecto estado.No gotea pero hay que tenerlo muy limpio.
