Just buy it! Great game!
We have been having so much fun with this game! Games are short, so we’ll play 3-10 or however many we feel like at the time. It’s very unique with gameplay you don’t typically see, highly strategic, and super easy to learn. Anyone can pick this game up and start playing immediately. You just learn more strategy and tricks the more you play. This is def a WIN purchase. 10/10 would buy again. If you’re a lover of family games like me, this is a must add to any collection. Highly recommend.

Your new favorite game
We’ve been playing a lot lol every new game you learn a new do or don’t and it’s fun because it’s a simple premise but gets very complicated as you go in an interesting way. If you enjoy strategy games or puzzles or just a simpler and more fun form of chess with only one pawn and very few rules this is the game for you. The fences(walls) add such a cool element to a simple objective and learning to use them both offensively and defensively is the joy. It’s great, get it.

Simple strategy game — that’s still so challenging!
Soooo much fun. I love this whole brand, their games are beautiful and simple, but require a lot of strategy.

10/10 Game. Easy to learn and SO fun!
I had seen ads for Quoridor for a while and finally decided to give it a shot. My friend and I decided to 'try it out' late one night and were immediately hooked. We played for hours and had a blast. The concept of the game is super simple but there are lots of different strategies. I have only played 1v1 so I can't speak to the 4 player game play, but if you're looking for a great game to add to the collection I highly recommend Quoridor.

Awesome game
The game itself is 5 stars easy! My 5 and 7 year old can both play easily and competitively with me. The board itself has some paint chipping off a little on corners and the wooden pieces are difficult to place in some spots.

Easy to learn, hard to master!
This is an excellent strategy game for two or four players that you can learn all of the rules of in less than five minutes. The strategic element, however, can take forever. The goal is simple - get your pawn to the other side of the board, which starts off empty. On your turn you can make one of two moves - either move your pawn one square adjacent, or put down one of your ten fences. The fences are impassable, and you place them to hinder your opponent's progress. The only rule about placement is that you cannot make it COMPLETELY impossible for your opponent (or yourself) to get to the other side. Backtrack the entire way? Go for it!I have only two complaints, neither of which are severe enough to lower this to a four-star ratings. The first is that the pawns are slightly too big, or the board is slightly too small. Because there are notches cut into the board to place the fences in, and the pawns are exactly the size of the space they sit on, it's very easy to knock them around when you're trying to place a fence. The other is that the board could have been better designed to accomodate four players. The gameplay has no issue with four players, and is loads of chaotic fun. There's just no storage space for the 3rd and 4th player to hold their fences, but it's not a big deal, you can just hold them in your hand or on the table. It just seems odd that the game designer built spots for two players to hold fences but not for four.Either way, this is a fantastic game that can be played in under ten minutes with a depth of strategy and simple rules. I highly recommend it.

Good quality game with wood pieces.
The wood board and pieces are good quality. I played a few games and did not think much of it, but then I started to lose! It can be quite addictive as you try to "win one back"! It is not a difficult game but requires a little strategy that would often get ruined when you opponent puts up a wall that basically destroys what you had planned. You literally need to stay one step ahead of your opponent to win! Highly recommended.

Lots of possibilities
Great game with endless possibilities. A game may only take a couple of minutes, but it's a matter of seconds to set back up. Good quality wood pieces, which is rare these days.
