Painted with durable, non-toxic paint and housed in a stylish dovetail wooden box with a sliding lid, this toy promotes early literacy, number recognition, and fine motor skills for children 19 months and up. Perfect for screen-free, imaginative play that grows with your child. ## Description desertcart.com These painted wooden alphabet blocks are a true classic, the kind of toy that stays around from one grateful generation to the next. Each 1.25-inch cube is stamped with letters, numbers, and objects. Kids will spend hours at a time with these blocks, building, creating, and "writing." Regular playtime with them can heighten letter, number, and object identification skills, and illustrate how placing one letter next to another and another can make a word. On two sides of each block the letters or numbers are slightly raised and painted in cheerful red, blue, green, or yellow, with a border for emphasis. In addition to all the letters of the alphabet and numbers 0 through 9, there are four symbol blocks with a question mark and the plus, minus, and equal signs. The depicted objects include stylized stars, eyeglasses, flowers, trains, and bees. A nifty (and convenient) wooden box with a sliding lid keeps the 48 blocks in one place. --Emilie Coulter Product Description Build a tower or learn the alphabet with these colorful wooden blocks! From the Manufacturer Alphabet block Review Includes 48 wooden blocks in a wooden box with sliding lid Skills: alphabet, number identification, motor coordination, spelling Supply is limited -- Review: Small - Very small blocks but very cute and my one year old loves them. Review: Better than I had when I was little :) - My 3 year old got these from her Nana for her birthday and she loves them. She builds with them and is learning to recognize her alphabet. My almost 5 year old steals them away every chance she gets, like when little sister is still down for a nap. The pictures on the blocks are way better than when I was a kid, more colorful, but mainly look like you remember. They are durable, I haven't noticed the edges being sharp or anything. The container is great because the kids make sure they fit the blocks back in there perfectly at clean-up time. A big plus because they keep up with all of the blocks that way, we haven't lost any and probably won't. They know exaclty what it supposed to look like when they are all picked up and put back in their container. Great purchase, I love toys without batteries that trigger the imagination. I learned to spell with ABC blocks when I was little, so I thought it would be a good thing to have since "Nana" seems to have lost my old set. ## Features - A classic 48 piece, 1.25 inch solid wood alphabet block set for hours of fun building, creating and "writing" - Complete alphabet plus numbers 0-9 and images of animals, fruits, flowers, toys and flowers add to engaging play - Painted with a sturdy, durable and completely non-toxic paint for a long lasting, vibrant finish that is completely safe for young children - Comes packaged in a beautifully crafted, dovetail constructed wooden storage box with a clear sliding lid - Perfect for all children 19 months + ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00000DMC6 | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Best Sellers Rank | #307,541 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #727 in Toy Stacking Block Sets | | Brand Name | Schylling | | Color | Multi-colored | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 516 Reviews | | Educational Objective | Learn the alphabet, numbers, and object identification; enhance fine motor skills creativity | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00019649201921 | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Dimensions | 5.51 x 5.63 x 4.13 inches | | Item Part Number | SC-AB | | Manufacturer | Schylling | | Manufacturer Part Number | SC-AB | | Manufacturer recommended age | 18 months - 3 years | | Material Type | Wood | | Model Number | AB | | Number of Players | 1 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Power Source | Manual | | Set Name | ABC | | Size | Schylling ABC Blocks | | Supported Battery Types | No batteries required | | Theme | Alphabet | | UPC | 019649201921 787799844564 698887811880 793625016920 734548984941 793631636228 885539952460 | | Unit Count | 48 Count | ## Images ![Schylling ABC Wooden Alphabet Blocks Toy - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71xqbIk6vJS.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small *by C***. on December 27, 2018* Very small blocks but very cute and my one year old loves them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than I had when I was little :) *by J***R on September 18, 2008* My 3 year old got these from her Nana for her birthday and she loves them. Perhaps the smaller size allows her to more easily grasp them (more than one at a time). She seems to like the sound they make when she tosses them on the floor. They are still a safe size and would not be a choking hazard for a child under three years of age. They come in a nice wooden box that can be used to store them..although they seem to be everywhere but the box. Beware parents, they are quite painful to step on in your stocking feet, so you may want to try to keep them in a sequestered area. They are colorful and made of wood, so these should last for a long time and be appropriate for many stages of development. There are letters, numbers and pictures on each one, so when she begins to spell and name things these can be a fun learning tool. I think it was a wise investment for a small output of money. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/1744520-schylling-abc-wooden-alphabet-blocks-toy](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/1744520-schylling-abc-wooden-alphabet-blocks-toy) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
