Extremely good publication. It is broken into year 3 and year 4 and has one list of spellings with exercises per week - though in reality we are getting through two a week. It really tests a child's understanding of the words and not just their ability to spell them through little written exercises. It also tests synonyms well. The exercises take less than 10 minutes and are very clear and well laid out.The order of the book is clever to, e.g. sparse may be in week 1 and then dense in week 2 etc so you relate opposites.I have tried many spelling books and this is the best one by FAR that I have come across. Very good for a parent who wants to do extra with their child and will last for 2 school years so good value for money. It is a thick book!

It is really the best spelling book I have found.There are not only the list words, but also good practice according to the list.It is useful for my year 3 girl.Love it!Highly recommend!

Bought for my 8 year old who has trouble with spelling. It has both spelling lists and short exercises for the children to complete. It is a challenging book for my 8 year old but with practice it should get easier.
