No auto focus but very good, crisp
Good camera for my application (spectrophotometry). There is a removable IR filter that you can remove to see IR (seen in the above picture). Very sharp, can resolve the 2nm europium-mercury band and compact, works well in dark environments. The only small issue is no automatic focus but this can be solved in software, you can control the focus from your computer. Overall a good camera.

Average webcam -- perfectly fine for the price
I guess you shouldn't expect much from a camera this price. I'm not very happy with the image quality, at least not in my office. The rubber thing that is meant to make it secure on a monitor doesn't really work well. You can make it stand on the desk, but very few faces look good when shot from below. Three stars isn't a bad score in my mind, it 'just means it's average and nothing mind blowing. I've had the software freeze on me a few times in Windows 10 but not enough to really bother me.I wouldn't take my review super serious, as I haven't used many webcams so maybe this is above the standard for this price range but when I look Youtubers or other Skypers, their quality is better than mine. Tip; you need plenty of light. That goes for most cameras though, but the amount you need on this thing is a bit extreme. The colors also aren't that great IMO, even with a great amount of light.

Pretty nice cam
I gave this a 4 instead of 5, but I offer the immediate disclaimer that the missing star is probably operator error. I did have some issues setting it up and figuring it out, but I have never done one before and I am sure I made some rookie mistakes. The user manual is weak, but again, if you already know about webcams, it probably says all it needs to. I am trying to make a video and haven't mastered the microphone yet - it's almost unusable. But Youtube masters suggest to never use the mic on any webcam anyway, so I suspect this one is no less than any others. Much of what I thought 'wasn't working' was actually just that it is slower than I expected, and I just wasn't giving it enough time to process my requests. The one final thing I would mention, however, that gave me fits until I found it in the instructions is that to launch the cam process, you have to RIGHT click the icon on the task bar. Counterintuitive because most programs are opened with a left click.

Great WebCam plug play
Camera worked immediately once plugged PC with great image 'out of the box'The AMCAP manual is included and packaged nicely. The camera is quality built and has good focus & images overall goodVideo recording was great also. Applications such as Zoom and Webex or even teams meeting works flawless and thus exactly what i was in the market for. the Price is very comparable with with 1080P but I liked the design of this camera and wanted to try something different this time around.

Unfit for really any purpose
If there's a way to get 30fps at 1080p on this thing, I couldn't figure it out in spite of the fact that I tried three computers, installed the dodgy camera software*, tried multiple USB 2 and 3 ports, and several different 3rd party software packages. Oh, sure, you can happily set the manufacturer software to 30fps. You clearly won't get more than about 10fps or so, though.Oh yeah, other fun thing: Once the software picks up a USB port that the camera is on, it somehow remembers that the camera will be on that port. During the period of time that I was trying different speeds of ports, I noticed that the camera stopped detecting in the software, even though it was working in windows otherwise. On a hunch, I moved it back to that original port. Sure enough, it started working again.I'm returning it and picking up the Logitech C920, which is what instinct said I should have bought to begin with.* Camera software is windows only, crashed about 40% of the time I changed a setting, and requires what I can only describe as "spooky" levels of UAC elevation. If my windows install wasn't just an overglorified gaming console, I'd probably be formatting and reinstalling right now.

Misleading product if you expect clean 1080p 30fps video and certainly not USB3 capable
Very misleading product description. This is touted as a 1080p web cam. To me that means that it has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels progressive scan video, and I would expect at least 30Hz. Also the description implies it has USB 3 capability. However right on the first page of the manual it says that for video it is capable of 640 x 480 or 1280 x 720 30fps, and no better, and also clearly states in the instruction manual that is is a USB 2 device. Despite this the instructions say that "1080p HD can capture video without any blurs". Well this camera cant manage to do that and with only USB 2 it doesn't have enough data rate for high resolution video. In practice it can capture 1080p but only at 5 frames per second. To get a faster rate you have to enable camera MJPG compression which will introduce blurriness and compression artifacts.

Excellent HD photo, video and sound for a reasonable price
This AUSDOM webcam is well designed and provides excellent HD photo, video and sound quality for a reasonable price. The flexible stand allows easy mounting to the top of a desktop monitor or other location. Windows 10 finds the camera and microphone automatically as long as your privacy settings allow it. The camera's auto-focus and brightness controls are immediately visible next to the on-screen picture. You can adjust resolution from HD 1920x1080 16:9 or if necessary down to low-resolution 4:3 to save bandwidth. This webcam is perfect for online conference meetings with Zoom or other equivalent packages.
