These are wonderful crushed tomatoes. Sure, I love that they are organic, but the flavor is just so....well, tomato-y. The sodium level on these is very low so you just have this wonderful flavor or ripe, deeply flavored tomatoes and nothing else. In addition to that, when you open the can, it's stuffed with tomatoes, not tomato juice. Perfect! Sure they're more expensive, but I wouldn't be surprised (if you could compare how many tomatoes are in each can) to find that there are more tomatoes in these cans than your average brand. Well worth it for the quality, flavor and quantity! PS: plus, you're not paying for sodium packed food, just great food.

So many other brands have added salt or sugars—so nice to find one made of just tomatoes and tomato purée. Delicious!

I have ordered these tomatoes through Subscribe and Save and haven't received them yet, so I can't comment on the taste. But I think it is important to note that these canned tomatoes are one of the few that you can buy that do not contain BPA in the lining of the can. "BPA has been shown to be a neuroendocrine disruptor and causes several biological problems, especially during development," and the acidic nature of the tomatoes increases the rate at which the BPA enters the food. This is one of those foods you NEVER want to eat. They state right on their website that the cans do not contain BPA, and they also offer a glass jar alternative.

So great to get a convenient canned crushed tomato sauce with NO CITRIC ACID! These taste so fresh. These are now my go-to. I keep a supply in the pantry.
