THIS IS A GREAT PATTERN BOOK WITH EASY TO FOLLOW DETAILS AND A GOOD SELECTION OF PROJECTS

Its a lovely book with some really lovely projects. I have been sewing for many years and would say you need a little patience as some of the sewing requires tight curves and a reasonable amount of accuracy.I would definately recommend this book it's got some lovely ideas!

Made the goose turned out lovely

The book is beautiful and I love every pattern in it an intend to make them all. How ever I do not recommend to a novice. The instructions are terrible and you really do need some knowledge to but them together.Still it is a beautiful book

This book is full of lovely things. I have resisted the temptation to start anything until my current projects are finished but I cant wait to give them a try. The only negative I have seen at the moment is that you need to add a seam allowance to the pattern but certainly would not let this put me off. Cant wait to start, the hardest bit will be deciding which project to choose!

This is a beautiful looking book with lovely patterns but the lack of proper information is immensely frustrating. There are no detailed instructions for painting the faces which are a large part of the dolls’ charm. The dolls’ sizes are not given and no easily accessible fabric amounts - it will say 2 pieces 14cm by 15cm for the head and then you need to add on that for the body, arms etc rather than a fat quarter or half metre. Furthermore the pattern pieces for each doll are superimposed on each other which saves space but is not preferable. I’m afraid the book falls for style over substance.

The creatures and dolls are nice but the patterns and instructions 🤯😤.The patterns are in a lot of different places (the Goose hood is on a page with the ewe with no frekin lable or explanation plus there pages apart and the really odd part the ewe has no hood), there's random cut here signs with no explanation why. And all it says is plain fabric...what type of fabric.NOT FOR BEGINNERS!I bought this book and gave up. My mom who is a seamstress and does beautiful dolls from another book decided to try this one, she faired better but still found the instructions confusing and relied more on her experience than the instructions.
