Awesome Mann!
Mann, it's been the filter of choice for all my nice ICE vehicles. Good filter, good price. Never had a problem. This latest filter is for a BMW E46 330ci. It's got 205K miles and keeps on going. 5K oil change intervals are probably overkill, but they seem to help to minimize the oil burn. (stuck oil control rings are a real issue). The quality filter is just part of the routine and has never given me any issues.

Long term review: Direct replacement for BMW E85/E86 Z4 oil filter
I purchased this oil filter for my 2004 BMW Z4 (E85/E86) in 2011. It lasted for years in conjunction with full synthetic oil, and I plan to purchase them in perpetuity. I do all of the maintenance on my Z4 myself because I want to save money and make sure that the job is done correctly. I went to my local dealership and was told by the parts department that the BMW OEM oil filter was this filter made by Mann. I confirmed this by going to a BMW forum. When I removed the old filter, it was a perfect match, even down to the numbers!If you are even remotely mechanically inclined, I would highly recommend attempting this job yourself. It can be done safely in your driveway or garage with simple tools and a good set of ramps. Replacement oil pan drain plugs are available as well. Your local autoparts store has the Castrol European Formula true full synthetic oil on sale every few months. If you are patient or plan ahead you can reduce the price of an oil change by 2/3 and be confident that the job was done correctly. Professional products but have a random flimsy plastic bag packaging transport
Five stars for the product, two stars for the shipping and especially for the packaging. Should use the packaging of paper box shock absorption transportation, otherwise, the product has been compressed and deformed when it arrives, how to use it

Your Go-To Filter For E46's
As everyone in the E46 community knows, this is the brand you go to when you need to change your oil. It comes with a new washer and o-ring for your convenience, but make sure you actually replace them because they're wear items. The best part of it all is how cheap the filter is compared to other brands when this one is the best one around.
