A very very good karaoke mixer!
I finally settled with this unit in spite of its lacking option to connect with other devices using the optical cable otherwise called toslink cable. Utilizing a digital audio converter device, I was able to connect the new Samsung smart TV to the 20 years old Yamaha receiver. The sound was very very good! The wireless microphones were very sensitive! And it has also bluetooth capability. I decided to use the smart tv for the Youtube karaoke songs accompaniment so more people can sing along with the singer or singers. I highly recommend this unit in spite of it minor issue of not being able to connect by optical audio cables. If such are present, then I have no need of buying a digital audio converter.

Good - could be better
The mics work very well out of the box. They come with a full battery charge. They feel solid in the hand and audio quality is good. I don't plan to use the music input or the Echo effect so can't comment on those. Now here are some issues that should be easy for the manufacturer to correct, and if they did fix these things, they would have a really superb product.1. The manual. It is very short, has grammar errors, and leaves out lots of useful info. PLEASE hire a competent English-speaking tech writer to make a proper manual with detailed information.2. The silly fact that the "display" on the front of the base station is a fake! It shows "CH 001 CH 002" forever regardless of what channels the mics are using. It isn't really a display, it doesn't really have a VU display. It's just for show. (This has been admitted in the Questions above.)Granted, having a functional LCD display would probably add $20 at least to the price of the product! I'd pay that, it would still be cheap. But at least take off the fake display, which is really an insult to the customer.3. The charge port in the microphone is NOT a USB-C as you might guess looking at the picture. It is a "Micro-USB", an old standard that is going out of use. There is nothing wrong with this, especially for a charging port, but they should spell it out in the product description.4. The kit comes with one charging cable (USB-A to Micro-USB), but no charger. Yes, USB-A charging devices are common (any laptop, for a start) and inexpensive. But it should be possible keep the mics with the base station while charging them. A useful upgrade to the product would be, to add a USB-A charging port to the back of the base station itself. It might add $5 to the cost, but would be very convenient.

Works great but need to use the right speaker
For me this mic setup works fantastic. Flawless audio quality (to my ear) and just great. I read some mixed reviews and realize what you plug it into matters a lot. I’m using it with the Sony SRS-XP 500 speaker which has a two mic inputs. I found the guitar input works better than the mic only input on the speaker. Play with the gain on the speaker and the output on the mic box and you can get great clear sound with no noise. Also with this setup there is no feedback noise if mic gets close to speaker. Anyway I highly recommend this combination of speaker with this mic setup. A friend has a “professional” karaoke system and honestly this combination to me sounds way better.

Works poorly
I just received and set up the Kithouse S9 at my home. The microphone hardware quality is fine (all metal) however the overall product works very poorly:1. The microphones keep disconnecting. Unless you are very close to the base (4-5 feet max), face the base without anything obstructing the path between the microphones and the antennas, they will disconnect. Turn 90 degrees to grab something from the coffee table, or crop to pick up something and the mics disconnect...2 The music volume output of the base station is very low, forcing you to set the volume very high on the receiver, causing background noise/static.3. Looking at the photo of the product, I assumed that the base station featured a screen showing the active channels, signal strength of each mic, etc. It's not a screen, it's a sticker inside of the device that gets lighted/visible when it's turned on...3. The jack to RCA cable included in the box was faulty, causing "scratch" noise. Replacing it with another one fixed the issue, confirming that the cable provided was indeed poor quality.4. The user manual contains no useful instructions, including zero information on how to pair with Bluetooth or even what the base station's bluetooth name is.

Amazing product for the price
It is a great product, easy to install, connect and it works smoothly. Some little noise on the background can be heard between sounds but not a big deal at all.
