Bestop 8003535 Black Diamond Wrap-Around Windjammer for 2003-2006 Wrangler TJ

It fits, but when combined with the dust cover it doesn't allow me to fasten the duster to the rollbar on each front corner like its supposed to.I bought it to carry along in case of rain and thought I'd just be able to put it on quickly when necessary. But 2 of the 4 straps on the top of the jammer have to be wrapped around the rollbar right where my speakers are attached to the roll bar. Idon't have a full sound bar, just the stock corner pods. So in order to get those straps around the rollbar I would have to take the speakers off everytime. I will figure out a simpler solution on my own. Maybe take the speakers off once and put velcro around the rollbar that will stay there all the time.Also... the snaps! Easy to put on the dust cover, but trying to snap them together....a true pain in the arse! I definitely broke a swaet! It seems like the flap on the jammer should be lower by at least an inch.Over all I'm not 100% happy with it. I'll make it work with some improvising... but for the price paid I shouldn't have to do that.Quality material. Although the way the snaps attach to the duster it looks like at some point the flap is going to rip on the corners and there is no real way to loosen it up. I'm thinking of just forgetting the snaps all together and sewing in some velcro.I wouldn't buy again and would not recommend.

How do I rate this? Not sure if I received the wrong model, but after trying to install twice, in 90 degree heat, with the seats pushed all the way up to the dash, the wraparound would not reach to the other side. It was about 1.5 inches from reaching. There's no way that the material would stretch that far even baking in the sun. So, before sending it back, I called Bestop directly. I was merely trying to see if maybe I was sent the wrong model. The rep INSISTED that I take a photo of the problem. I told her that the photo was simply going to show that it was 1.5 inches too short, and that all I wanted to know, is if I possibly received the wrong model. She refused to answer me without a photo. So I returned it to Amazon.

Best wind jammer I ever bought. Fits my tj nice and snug

Yeh no kidding on the being unable to see over your left shoulder. You'll have to really get up and stick your head out. They should have just added a vinyl window on both corners... Also you'll have to take the soft and frames off. No way it will install with the soft on. The arms attached to the frame makes it impossible to wrap it arouns the door surrounds.I ended up keeping mine and eventually will cut and glue a vinyl window for the blind spot issue. Slit an opening for the factory frames, sew and glue a long zipper in hopes I can use it with the factory top installed..Also when this is installed you WILL sit straight up and near the wheel. It is that right on the back of the rear seat. No reclining at all

I recently bought this along with the bikini top and the Duster deck cover for a drive out through glacier and Yellowstone parks. 1st of all the windjammer does not fit even close to the way it should. You have to cut 2 small holes on each side to fit over the mounts on the roll bar and after 2 hours of driving the wind made those large holes. And if you have the speaker bar like most do there is nowhere to put 2 of the four straps that hold it up. There is a small flap that is suppose to fit over the deck cover but that will end up being to far above the deck cover to attatch it so it doesnt work either. The duster deck cover fits and goes on the easiest but both straps will break the cheap plastic clips they use to secure it to the bar. The bikini top is tricky to get on and 3 of the 4 clips used to tighten that on broke by the second day of driving. So just a tip if ya buy this buy some parachute Cord also as you'll need it to keep parts of it together. I would return the whole system except part of it is still back in the trash in Yellowstone.

Replaced a smaller windjammer that just spans the roll bars. I love how much quieter and weather-proof this is. Won't keep water from coming in at the very top though, and the snaps for the duster rear cover aren't very secure.

I like the fit. The only problem with the installation is, what do you do with the front straps for you duster cover? Other wise looks and fits well. keeps out 90% of the rain and wind

It is still new so time will tell, but so far I like it.
