This case is just as good, if not better, than much more expensive ones.

I've dropped my new phone so far about 20 times. Still in pristine condition!

I had had my LG G8x Thin Q phone with this case for only a few months - and had dropped it two times without any problem - when it fell from my lap to the ground while I was getting out of the driver's seat of my car (a Buick Enclave so not too high). It landed flat and the glass cracked from the power button diagonally to the top left corner. I have owned (Android) smart phones (including several LG's) since they hit the market and have NEVER had a screen crack before, so unsure if it's the phone or the case, but I am sorely disappointed with the lack of protection this particular case provided. Also, the input jack on the phone is difficult to reach with the case on, so one really needs to push it in hard to make sure the connection works (I thought I had a defective phone at first until I realized it was just the case making it difficult.) This is the first case I'd ever purchased with the "Dual Layer" design, so maybe that is the problem on both issues. Sigh. Buyer beware.
