Step 2: Remove the protective cover Step 3: Insert the toner cartridge into the drum unit until it clicks into place. Step 4 : Insert the drum unit (with toner installed) into the printer. If you need to replace the new toner container, turn off the printer, remove the old toner container, install the new toner container, and then restart the printer.
