Of the 18 we ordered we used 12 this year. Of the 12, one had a leaking seam and the other 11 were good. I contacted the seller and they immediately sent a new one to replace the defective unit. Great response and communication from the vendor. So far these have worked great this year. I filled to about 2/3 full to allow for any freeze expansion. We have a 30' round X 48" deep above ground pool and I have 12 of these slightly overlapping on the inside of the rim sitting on the tarp. We have had several extended occurrences of winds steady 30+ mph and these performed flawlessly. We live on a hill and there are no obstructions so the pool/tarp sees the full amount of wind. This weekend we had severe thunderstorms with winds 60+ and these rode it out like a champ.Update. Just took the tarp off the pool for spring and these worked great all winter. They were frozen solid several times and they all were still holding water great. We had about 5” of water on top of the tarp along with leaves and other organics so there was some algae growth. The algae was growing on the tubes but not to it. They rinsed off with a hose no problem. They were all still very pliable and should be usable next year. The plugs are still solid too.

I read the reviews in advance, so going into this I knew some would leak. It seems like it's a common problem for many brands.So prior to installing, I had my patches ready, I air tested the bags for holes, and then I water tested them. Most of them had pinholes somewhere, which I patched up. It took me hours and hours.However, 10 out of 11 leaked, and one of them arrived with a broken cap with no hope of repairing it.I contacted the company who promptly sent me a replacement order.However, the replacement order had the same problem - even after extensive testing and repairs, 11 of 12 leaked.Now I have 2 tubes that actually work, out of 24. I should have just asked for a refund and not messed around with these things.My next step is to get an impulse sealer and try to remanufacture them myself. Or just go back to using cement blocks.If you're going to get water tubes, get double or triple walled, and get the kind where the caps screw on.

These tubes last longer than one year. What I don't like is last year I bought several of these tubes at a great price I thought until I got them and half of them came with defects. Looked like they were manufactured as long continuous tubes and they are cut at the end of each length and the ones I got had been missed cut into the seem. I should have sent them back but I love 30 miles from everything. Amazon used to have returns picked up at my house by UPS but know even though I'm a prime member they want me to take returns to a UPS drop off. Inconvenient!!! The picture I posted is of an older tube that has held up more than one year and I think my mistake was trying to buy a deal. All the tubes I bought this year were all good I'm happy to say.

Some bags from other companies take so much effort to close, half your water comes out.These you can close one handed while pinching the hose with your other hand.Will buy again

I ordered 10 of these water bags. 3 of the 10 were leaking at the seams. At first I tried to contact the seller thru Amazon with no response for 4 days. Then I contacted Amazon and the sellers called me that day. They have been very cordial and offered replacement bags. If I could rate the rep, I'd rate her a 5 star but I'd rate the water bags a 2 star. So I rated the whole experience 3 star.

Because I didn't have the heavier guage - I lost half mine other ones. Didn't open the pool this year so I'm hoping the heaviers ones will give me more than just one season.

Bought these a year ago. 3 of the water bags had seam leaks so that only one would hold water. By end of the season for use 5 of them leaked. 5 out of 12 had problems. I don't call that good quality control. I'd pass on buying these

They are ok except 2 of them came with split seams. Is it worth sending back to replace. .??? well it was worth the effort to contact them. They sent me out replacements right away and even an extra one! Didnt have to return the bad ones. these are great!
