Femina Ridens

This is one of my most favorite Italian soundtracks. So much, that i own 3 versions at the moment. Not the - highly expensive - first CAM original alas, but i doubt if that one sounds better than the French Vadim reissue or here now recently (re)issued Four Flies version. Both are very well mastered and nicely processed vinyl products. The Vadim sleeve follows the original package design while Four Flies made the back cover different, but with high respect for a nicely fitting graphic design. The French Vadim reissue was offered in a standard weight sleeve. Four Flies offers theirs in a US style heavy cardboard sleeve, which makes it really classy (if you're lucky to get your peace in mint condition). For CD lovers there is only the Digitmovies option and that one is at this time of writing - aug 2019 - out of print and very expensive. Only hope for a new reissue there.And, oh yes, you might be interested in the music too. This is Italian Beat from the most exciting level, swinging, funky, sexy, hip, very danceable and the song on the B side, is one of my favorites too, only Italian women can sing that style of English, bad accent but Oh so charming.You love the music from Vampiros Lesbos? Original, lesser known sexy, almost erotic, funck from delicious Cinnecitta Cinematografica? Don't miss a copy of this jewel of an album. To be honest my album is in very good condition but after reading the frustrated comment of a fellow reviewer here, i sure admit it's vulnerable stuff. But to my experience, Amazon is really easy with swapping it for a better new item. Otherwise, a good alternative is trying to buy it in a shop, where you can hold and scrutinize it before changing it with money.
