These things are the bomb diggity! No more stupid screws falling to the ground or going in crooked. Slide them into place, slide the next board up next to it, give it a little jiggle to make sure it is in place correctly and screw down. So easy my 5-year old grandson could do it (I was going to say so easy a monkey could do it, but some people might get offended), but my grandson is pretty brilliant and could easily figure this out. So if you are smarter than a 5-year old, you should definitely get these if installing a composite deck!

Works as described. Makes Starter and finishing row a lot easier. No need the use router to make a groove to use hidden fasteners.

We just had a deck built recently. We purchased the Trex boards from Lowes. Here is something you should know, these clips are essential! As you plan out your composite deck you will learn that these clips are sold in combination with another item called “hideaway clips” at the big box stores. Save yourself some money and buy these Amazon clips ahead of time. You will see that the big box stores will sell you combo packs with a limited number of deck clips that will make you scream after you realize you cannot buy these clips by themselves.

We build a lot of composite decks and these clips are spot on for securing our first rows, without them we would be placing a bunch of face mounted screws
