Bisca Danish Butter Cookie Assortment 80 Ounce 5Lb

For 28 years I have told my husband about being a little girl where every Christmas I was looking forward to going to my Grandma's home in PA where she had these great bubble lights on her tree and this Danish can of Danish cookies, that I loved (No, she was not Danish but had great taste!.) My husband being of Scandinavian American ancestry, never had these great cookies? I have come across them in the past, but they were not the real thing from Denmark. He surprised me on my Birthday, with the REAL DANISH cookies, although they did arrive AFTER my birthday, they were just as I remembered them and a lot of cookies! LOL. Being a child, I used to dunk them also in hot chocolate, therefore, being an adult, I tried them with coffee. EVEN BETTER! They are also terrific for Tea Time (for herbal tea drinkers). The only thing negative I can say is they are addicting because they are delicious (as they may be butter cookies but they are light) and there are a lot of them! So I am offering samples to friends and neighbors. Otherwise, I could eat them all in about 4 weeks as they are that YUMMY! Not a SOFT cookie, a hard cookie with a lot of flavor and light (nut buttery tasting). Simply terrific.

I am a cookie guy so I like cookies.I ate KELSENS for years.But one day I was down to my last #5 tin so I tried to order another 4 tins,every one was out because it was the middle of summer I guess, not the holidays.So on the same page of EBAY was this blue #4 tin of DANISH butter cookies so I ordered a couple of #4 tins,now I am hooked.Not to take away from KELSENS but I had both tins side by side and after a couple of each I personally liked the DANISH,so I just ordered 4 more. I hate to be out of cookies.

I love those cookies..never got a bad batch. The only issue is theu are gone too fast

Cookies were great tasting, but half of the cookies were broken in pieces. I do not know if it was because of the age of the cookies.

We purchased this humungous tin of Royal Dansk biscuits as a Christmas gift for an elderly relative who enjoys a sweet treat but cannot eat regular 'hard' biscuits, and these beautifully light and not overly sweet Danish butter biscuits are perfect! First of all, we were appreciative that the product is the 'real deal' Royal Dansk brand - other brands are simply not as good and usually include around 50% chocolate chip cookies, which is very disappointing, but this tin contained only the genuine Royal Dansk product. The condition of the contents was extremely good. We had expected a number of biscuits to be damaged in transit, however the recipient reported on finishing the tin today, that only the very bottom layer had any breakages, and of those only a handful were broken, and the broken biscuits were not smashed and had merely broken in half! This gift was given on Christmas Eve and opened immediately, and the contents have remained fresh and crisp in the tin until finishing them today (5th May) right down to the very last crumb - not that there were any crumbs! Would thoroughly recommend this item, whatever the time of year. The huge quantity has lasted our single elderly recipient for more than four months of regular nibbling, and makes this tin a perfect gift for a family to enjoy, also ideal for parties or fund-raising events such as a coffee morning or afternoon tea. So go on, buy it, and enjoy!!

Wer eine große Familie hat oder in der Firma mal angeben möchte, ist mit dieser Dose bestens bedient. Im Sommer perfekt, weil ohne Schokolade und im Winter, weil die Kekse schmecken. Bei mir war die Dose vom Transport leicht eingedellt, aber damit muss man einfach rechnen.

Las galletas llegaron bien a casa, y lo que es mas importante, la lata estaba en perfecto estado, perfecta para mi coleccion de dulces gigantes. Por supuesto, Royal Dansk no defrauda, las lleve de manera improvisada a un tardeo y a todos les encantaron, de hecho, descubrieron que van muy bien con el guacamole casero. Eso si, hay que ser conscientes de que 1.8kg es una barbaridad, yo lo hice por coleccionismo, pero tendras que ver si las puedes terminar sin que se estropeen.
