It ended up being one of the better tinted spf products I tried during my hunt for my favorite 2.5 years ago! Upped my rating to 5 stars. Everything below is still accurate! Original review May 2023: 4 out of 5 stars… almost perfect for my needs. Im going to list my cons first, because if these really bother you, this won’t be your ideal product. 1) the bottle is fairly small for sunscreen. It’s 1.5 oz. If you’re using this regularly and use the recommended amount of product to get accurate spf protection, you’re likely to go through this quickly. 2) the price is high for the amount you get. I’ve purchased foundations that cost more, but you use less so they last longer. Also my go-to Paula’s Choice sunscreen is about the same price, but I’m getting twice as much product with that one. So this seems expensive to me. 3) it’s messy. I don’t know why it feels so much messier than other products I have in the same sort of nozzle spout bottles. But this one definitely is messier. It’s never leaked out of the cap, but it gets all over the spout and inside the cap. And lastly 4) the coverage on this is very low. That’s not a deal breaker for me, and with two layers I get it to light coverage (versus sheer coverage with one layer.) If you like higher coverage products, you won’t get that with this no matter how many layers you apply. The background: I’m 47 with good skin, but dry and sensitive. I’m beginning to show signs of aging around my mouth and eyes. I prefer the lighter coverage foundation/skin tint products, those that look like healthy perfected skin rather than makeup that covers every little freckle but looks unrealistic. Because I have dry skin, I absolutely cannot do matte products without looking significantly aged. I also don’t like overly dewy products that sink into fine lines and pores. The conclusion: So I’ve been looking for the past year for a high spf tinted mineral facial sunscreen that didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. Ideally, I wanted something I could use in place of tinted moisturizer or skin tint type foundations for everyday use. I’ve purchased so many… some are too dry, some too oily, some offer zero coverage at all and emphasize texture, some are basically foundation with sunscreen so the coverage is too much. This one checks off most of my boxes. It’s moisturizing, but not greasy. It settles into a satin/natural finish on my face. The texture is thin and silky, feels lovely on. The universal tint matched well with my light neutral skin tone. The coverage is sheer to light at best, but even at sheer coverage it has a blurring effect that seems to camouflage minor imperfections. It can be built up slightly, not higher than light coverage, in my opinion. It’s not tacky to the touch, and can be set with a light dusting of powder if you prefer. The spf is high, which I like. Also, it’s not hard to use the recommended amount for the true spf coverage claimed. I believe the ideal amount to use is a quarter of a teaspoon of any spf to get the correct amount needed for the stated spf. That sounds like a lot, but this texture is so thin, and it applies so smoothly and easily, two layers gets the correct amount and still sits well on your skin and never looks odd or feels heavy. It wears well, feels good on, and doesn’t irritate my skin. It also doesn’t irritate my eyes. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase. To be honest, I really like this but I’m not sure I’ll REpurchase, but ONLY because I’m undecided if the product value is there for the price… I might keep trying other tinted spf products to see if I find the true Goldilocks… Review: Nice light coverage and feel, Just the right amount of color - I'm 37yo with relatively "good," combo/dry skin, and after my skincare routine, I apply limited concealer, and then the Vichy tinted sunscreen all over my face, neck, and decolletage, with a swipe of blush and limited mascara; that's it. My coworkers have all commented on how great my "makeup" looks. I was really concerned when I first got the product as it comes out super watery. My concerns were quickly lifted after applying the product and wearing it day after day. Granted, I don't get to "touch grass" as much as I would like to, but the limited amount of sun I do get, it protects my skin well. I love the light feel and overall coverage. The smell isn't great, but I wasn't expecting it to be, but it's also not awful. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a daily, natural look.

Nice light coverage and feel, Just the right amount of color

Ok
I tried this sunscreen and overall, I liked it. However, I found it to be quite runny, which means I end up using more product to cover my skin properly. While it does the job, the liquid consistency makes it feel like it runs out faster than other sunscreens I’ve used. Still, it’s effective, but I wish it had a thicker texture.

Titanium Dioxide only mineral sunscreen
I bought this sunscreen because it’s recommended by a dermatologist YouTuber and I’d like to try tinted sunscreen for my hyperpigmentation. Vicky has a sheer tint which fit my fair to medium skin tone, although it leaves grayish at first. It’s light-weighted but also hydrating which is very friendly to my dry skin. The ingredients only contains titanium dioxide as active ingredient. I wish it has zinc oxide which has better protection of UVA. The tint makes it messy after applying. I must be very careful not to touch anywhere after applying until washing hands. The tint is also easily to be wiped off or stain on clothes. I would use other sunscreen for my neck to avoid stains on clothes. It needs makeup remover to clean off the sunscreen like foundation. I don’t think I would repurchase it because of these reason.

Wonderfull shade! Not ORANGE!
Every tinted sunblock I’ve tried, and there have been many, has been ORANGE. I’ve spent a bunch of money. Finally, I started returning them. This Vichy is right on a natural skin color also protects my skin! THANK YOU VICHY!

Good quality
Excellent concentrated cream. The only downside is that it took 15 days to arrive, but the quality is excellent

I’m really impressed with this sunscreen! At first, the tint looked a bit too light for my skin, but after 5–10 minutes it blended in perfectly and matched my skin tone beautifully. The texture is ultra-light and non-sticky, which makes it very comfortable to wear throughout the day. It gives a nice matte finish and doesn’t make my skin shiny. I’ve worn it under makeup with no issues — it sits well and doesn’t pill. My skin is a bit on the dry side, so I do apply a light moisturizer beforehand, but that’s a small step for such great protection. I love that it uses 100% mineral filters and is safe for sensitive skin. No breakouts, no irritation — just smooth, protected skin. Definitely a new favorite in my skincare routine!

I had high hopes for this tinted sunscreen, but unfortunately, it fell short in several key areas. First and most concerning—the smell. The moment I opened the tube, I was hit with a strong chemical odor that closely resembled paint or solvents. It was overpowering and lingered even after application, making it very unpleasant to wear. To make matters worse, there was no protective seal on the tube. That raised serious questions about hygiene and product safety. It’s standard practice for skincare products to come sealed, especially when they’re intended for use on the face. The lack of a seal made me uncomfortable using it. In terms of texture and tint, it was decent—smooth enough to blend and the color matched fairly well with my skin tone. But unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the smell and questionable packaging.

I like this sunscreen a lot but found the more tan I got, the less the colour blended in. It seems better for lighter skin tones since it leaves a white sort of film sometimes. Overall a good sunscreen though and goes on smoothly and not greasy.
