I saw it on you tube and I thought it was a great idea. I got it and it is very useful. I have dropped my helmet several times, while getting ready to get on the bike, I used to place the helmet in a place that looked secure (mirrors, handlebar, seat), however for one reason or another it ended up falling to the ground and getting scuffed.Since I used the helmet hook the helmets rest in a very secure location, it does not bang against the bike and as a plus you can use a regular lock to secure it to the bike if you choose to do so.The hooks looks big, however you can't notice it once it is installed or when you are riding. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars No more helmet drops!!! *by P***S on Reviewed in the United States on December 15, 2016* Love this hook. So, you have to find washers that will fit (outside diameter) in the round slot with smaller center holes for the screw to go through if you want this centered.Second, if you don't have some kind of spacer, then the end of the handlebar and the bar-end will tighten onto the plastic ring area compressing it.Third, the hook isn't wide enough to handle all but the straightest D-ring on a helmet's chin strap.Fourth, within 24 hours both of the helmet hooks I bought just fell apart, one I found plastic pieces on the garage floor in the morning, and the other as I was trying to hang my $600 Shoei helmet on it, barely saved from dropping.If I could give this a NEGATIVE FIVE-star rating, I would!If you value your helmet, don't use this hook. makes me wonder how easy a thief can just bend the hook a little to break it off the bike an take your helmet with it - especially if you have an expensive commo device installed.
