Instead, the straps were designed buckle-style, like a belt you would wear around your waist. I immediately repackaged everything for a return and sent an email to the vendor expressing my unhappiness.The vendor replied promptly with a solution that I found agreeable, but they also asked if I might share why I didn't like the "improved design" of the knuckle straps. Well, since I never installed them in the first place, I didn't have an answer; and so I set about putting them on my controllers so I could bear witness to what would surely be a catastrophic failure so I could relay this information to the vendor.To my surprise, I eventually discovered that they work GREAT! I say "eventually" because It took a bit of fiddling to get them attached in a way that I felt was both comfortable for play and safe for the controller itself. Honestly, I have some doubt that I even have them installed as intended, but they look and feel fantastic along with the neoprene controller sleeves that came with the kit, so I'm going with it!I'm planning to make a video this weekend describing my installation process and updating this review to help people who may find themselves in the same boat I was in. If you didn't get the Velcro straps with your kit, don't write it off just yet! This is a nice accessory package, and a great value for the asking price IMO (once you figure the knuckle straps out). There were even a couple of neoprene thumb caps for the analog sticks included, which aren't listed in the product description. I'm knocking one star off for misleading product information on the store page, but as soon as that's corrected, this kit is 5 stars all the way! ### ⭐⭐ Not what is advertised. *by S***I on Reviewed in the United States on February 17, 2020* Straps are post and hole variety, not velcro. Easy enough to get one on, then you have a hand with a Touch Controller in it which you have to use to adjust the other one. This would be true of velcro as well, but clearly velcro would be easier to manage.Not only that, but even after you hear a distinctive "snap" that lets you know the post has been pushed through the hole, and it feels nice and tight, but not excessively... flex your hand a little bit and it pops right out.The silicone grips are decent enough, but taking them back off to change the batteries, as you have to due rather often, is a pain in the butt. I bought this kit for the silicon lens cover and the grips.. so the straps not being as advertised is not that big of a deal for me, personally. 2 Stars though, because velcro straps may be exactly what the next customer is looking for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but they forgot some stuff *by G***O on Reviewed in the United States on April 30, 2020* It’s good!
