Absolutely ideal especially for early readers
My girls just love this series. The story line is so exciting for all of us. I cannot recommend these books enough.

My kid's first experience with choose-your-adventure is a success!
My reluctant reader LOVES the Press Start series as his first chapter books, and choosing his own ending kept him focused on reading for days as he tried to get to all the endings.

These are a hit with our 8 year old and have got him interested in reading in his own.

Nice books, poor binding
This was the first series my son was interested in, and he still loves the books and retreads them. One thing i have noticed though, is that they seem to lose pages much easier than other books we own (equate to a small library). Not every book has fallen apart, and I'm not sure they were ALWAYS treated with the upmost care (smaller siblings), but 3 or 4 books of the series have been losing pages. So just be aware parents - make sure your kids are extra nice to these! Happy reading!

Turn them into a reader
I wanted my son to love reading, but he wasn't getting into it. I got this book series to peak his interests and it worked. Lots of fun pictures, video game story line, and easy text. Great series to get them started.
