Mintra Office Legal Pads - ((BASIC WHITE 6pk, 8.5in x 11in, WIDE RULED))

I found out about this brand from another fountain pen enthusiast, and after reading the positive reviews here, I gave this brand a try.I ordered the premium package in white, narrow ruled. I wrote a sample page with over 15 fountain pen inks in various colors, as well as rollerball pens, markers, pencils, highlighters, and ballpoint. The only significant bleedthrough to the reverse side of the page was with a black Sharpie fine-point marker. The vast majority of the fountain pen inks went down on the page without feathering or spreading.The only drawback is that it can be hard to cleanly tear pages off, without some amount of rough edges (as shown in the photo). Still, I am very pleased with the quality and give these pads five stars.

These are my boss' favor legal pads and he is picky. It is thick enough for him and easy to write on.

I used to be able to find narrow-ruled, white tear-off 8.5 x 11 paper at OfficeMax or OfficeDepot, but I can't count on that anymore. This is just what I wanted.

Loved the colors. It is your basic office pads.

I have bought many packs of this Mintra Office Legend paper in letter size, white, with narrow ruled blue lines. Paper quality is very good - I like the weight of this paper and the narrow rule for taking hand notes. HOWEVER, from package to package, I have found that the micro-perforations are not consistent and result in annoying and sometimes damaging tearing of the top of the sheets. In fact, the process of tearing this somewhat stout paper is more difficult than it should be. I put up with this issue since I scan my notes and eventually discard the paper originals, but even that process requires me to run the paper upside down to avoid misfeeds due to the torn top edge.
