Good product
Great product, easy to install and helps save a lot of headaches when it comes to figuring out where lead and other contaminates are coming from. It filters them right on out and easy to replace filters once installed.

Super easy installation!
It took me 5 minutes to install plus 5 minutes running the water through the filter to make water safe to drink. Water tastes great and flow rate continues the same. Love this product!

Chlorine Free Water
This filter does what I want - removes the chlorine and chloramines from the tap water. It was easy to install - it took me about 10 minutes, and gives good filtered water for coffee and cooking. My tap water is low in total dissolved solids and hardness, so getting rid of the chemical smell and taste is important. The nice thing is that it doesn’t affect my water pressure at the tap. Recommended.

Great unit but don’t buy from Amazon
The unit works perfectly. The filters are bit. Easy to install. Not leaks. The only complaint is I needed this unit right away because we couldn’t turn water on with this hooked up. I ordered from Amazon for quick delivery. It was supposed to be delivered on Saturday. The facility is only 45 minutes from where we live. I call c/s. And they assured me that it would be delivered Sunday. But I could see from tracking that it didn’t leave the facility all day. So I called in and she said it would definitely Be delivered by 10 pm. And the website wasn’t updated. It never came Sunday. It was delivered late this morning. I should have went to Jome Depot or Lowe’s it would have been quicker.

Water tastes like nothing, which is what I wanted
Ok, so I read the reviews on this before going with it, but it fit the bill for what I wanted: An inline filter for the cold on my faucet. If you are considering this you want this unit because 1> You either can't or don't want to put in a separate filter faucet 2> Are tired of standing at your fridge for filtered water 3> Don't need whole house filtration. This is a 4 month review and I just replaced my first filter. First things, install, if you have basic plumbing skills you can easily install this. Simple, didn't need to get anything other than a couple of wrenches. Second, water quality: Perfect. Tastes of nothing. Third, water flow: It's slightly lower than the hot side, but I'm talking slightly. At 4 months it was still fine. Fourth filter life: It went at about 3.5 months where I could start noticing a taste, that was a litlte disappointing. Until I really started thinking about our water usage in the sink, and yeah we cook and clean daily and probably use, no joke, 2 gallons a day in straight drinking water. Which doesn't include the rinse and run that you do for temp and things so easily double that. Putting this on a cold water line for a kitchen sink is going to run it off quick. Wife and I did a blind taste test on the filter (science!) change and we both agreed (in secret recorded answers) that the filter had gone past life. Honestly, consider the coffee, iced tea, water, cooking, etc, everything that we do this is a bargain .. and no more standing at the fridge waiting forever to fill things up.

Possibly the best one-filter water filter system
Yes, it is easy to install--or better said designed to be easy. Plumbing, ya know, is often where men's good language fades. Not the fault of APEC. Beware the two hoses included with the kit are 30 inch 3/8 fiber-reinforced plastic lines. They should work if the 3/8-inch female fittings fit your plumbing. Here on the West Coast, including Arizona, Nevada, etc., most under-sink plumb fittings are 1/2 inch. So, you're possibly looking at least one trip to the hardware store. I had to buy two 30-inch lines with 1/2 inch female on one end and 3/8 inch female on the other end. Beware that if you turn off the water valve on an old water valve, the hardened cone washer inside will start to leak--and you could have bigger problems. If you're not up to fixing these potential problems . . . . . . Yes, the water coming from the APEC filter tastes very good but an osmosis filtering system produces better-tasting water. Ya get what you pay for. I wanted a one-filter system, and as a bonus, the canister is a simple twist-off, twist-on replaceble canister without disturbing any else. I'm very happy with this.

Good flavor, removed sediment, easy to install, good flow rate.
We have a small sink in our wet bar that we previously used primarily for making coffee and cleaning coffee related tools. I started to notice that sediment was floating around in the carafe when I was making coffee. Our filtered water dispenser in our refrigerator is also loud and slow (which is a disappointment since it is a GE Monogram built-in product). Finally, it dawned on us to get an under-sink filter and use the wet bar to quickly fill glasses of water or water bottles with clean water as well as to have filtered water for coffee. This filter immediately removed the sediment from the water, which is great Although I am sure the sediment was harmless, but its nice to see perfectly clear water. Flavor of the water is also very good and clean. Indistinguishable from bottled IMO. Flow rate appears undisturbed by installation of the filer, which was very easy if you have BASIC plumbing skills and can use a wrench. I connected the filter to the cold side under the sink, and then use the hot side to rinse and clean to avoid running the filter needlessly, thus preserving its life before needing to replace.Wish we had got this sooner!

Misleading description
Says in the description that it filers out heavy metals. When tested with my TDS reader, the reading was as high as the plain tap water. Filtering out dissolved solids was very important for me. Contacted the manufacturer and was told it only filtered chemicals such as chlorine and fluoride. Ended up returning it.

Needs better quality supply lines
Both water lines that were provided for hookup were cheap and leaked, I had to go out and buy a set of proper steel braided lines.

Threads don't fit standard water pipes.
They fit pneumatic lines instead of hydraulics. Maybe guess that's American standard. Amazon sold this on Amazon SG. So be very careful.Having a tough time looking for adapters and fittings
