Amscan Sesame Street Party Invitations, Multicolor

Very nice simple Elmo invitations! The back has lines for child's name, party date, place, time and RSVP; and as the lines are in the middle and a B&W picture of the top of Elmo's (or Cookie's) head is at the bottom, there is also blank space at the top where you could put a personalized note (e.g., I put "Look who is turning TWO!" since there is really no other place to indicate the child's age.)Two things to be aware of though: One, if your address is on the longer side, the short 'place' line will not be long enough. I just wrote small in order to put two rows of text on the one line and it worked out fine. All our friends know our address anyway so no big deal. Also, ink smudges easily on the glossy paper so write and handle them carefully. At first I was stacking the cards and as I wrote them but then I noticed some of the ink on the back of the cards was smudging onto the front of the card stacked on top of it. So I suggest putting a card in its envelope straight away once you've filled it out to avoid smudging.

The front of these invites were very cute! Just what I had wanted. However, I was disappointed that the back where the information gets written was in black and white.

The invitations are cute and come with a save the date for calendars. However, the spot where you write the address of the party is not large enough to write an entire address. I was disappointed.

These are very cute and this was a great price. These are $5-$7 in local stores. If not aware, these are front and back like a post card, they do not open like a card. Cookie Monster also appears on the back in black and white. I don't knwo if this is a con for anyone, but I like this better than opening like a card.
