The only part of this product that is stretchable is the elastic band at the bottom. The rest of the material is not stretchable. It "flexes" at most, but definitely not what I imagined when I read "stretchy mesh".When you stretch out the elastic band, the shape of the shade is a rectangle. So if your window has any slope to it, there will be excess shade material once you pull it over the window.I had to stretch the elastic band all the way out to get it over the back window of my 2015 Toyota Rav4. It was REALLY tight as I was pulling it down. Once I had it all the way on, there was excess material at the top corner of the window (b/c the window has a slope) and the material bunched at the bottom b/c I guess my window wasn't as tall as the shade.Can't speak to the "no residue" claim b/c I never used it since it looked so bad on my car.I could return it but there's a minimum $6 fee to return! It's too bad it didn't.
