Great for after shaving

That aroma from this product takes me back to a simpler time of being with my grandfather. We’d take an early morning drive in his ole pickup to town and a stop in at the local barber shop. Hot towels, straight razors, and Clubman powder. Nothing made my grandpa look and smell more masculine than that aroma. I longed for the day I could experience the same. I appreciate the opportunity your company provides me now that he is no longer here.

I have used Pinaud powder for over 25 years. During this time the company changed from real talc to corn starch, which at first concerned me. After checking into the change I realized they probably did this because of the bad rap that talc received for its carcinogenic properties when used in women's tampax. I don't really know if these properties are transferrable to the externally used Pinaud or not, but I guess men could breathe in the talc when its applied to the body. Maybe that is the reason for the change, but the cynical side of my brain tells me it was a money-saver, and they took advantage of the talc-scare to make the change. Whatever the case, the fragrance fortunately did not change. It has always reminded me of the old aftershave, Canoe, for those old enough to remember that old standby. It's just a hint of this aroma, and fortunately the scent is never overwhelming, a good thing in my mind. If you have never tried this powder, give it a try.

Perfect for when an extra layer of protection is needed to keep moisture under control and the keeps you smelling fresh. Great for chest, underarms and below the belt. Takes me back to my childhood barber Mr. Gains!

Its ok.

It gives you the scent of coming fresh from the Barber shop. It has zinc in it to help stop infection of minor scraped from shaving. All-around great scented powder.

Outstanding, lead free, works great. Not all cakey like straight cornstarch. Controls moisture and odor. Now using this instead of cortisone cream.

This is the best smelling body powder!
