I actually ordered this not realizing it was a "data transfer" station, NOT a power station. I wanted to use it to power multiple USB powered cameras I have set up for my 3D printers. I realized after I ordered it was not meant for a power source. Decided not to return it anyway and to my surprise, it runs my cameras no problem! I have it plugged into a standard cell phone charging block running 5 cameras and they all power up and work fine! The on/off switches are a nice touch. I don't think these would charge a bunch of cellphones at once, but low power electronics like cameras, work fine!

It's a straightforward product, plain and simple, plug into a USB port and you have seven switchable ports. I have a laptop with only 3 USB ports, I use it with a large monitor, wireless mouse, wired keyboard, and printer, plus I occasionally need more for connecting a camera, iPod (yes, it still works, it's not fossilized) and Kindle. I've been using it over a year now, no problems. There's lots of similar items for much higher prices, I figured I'd try the inexpensive one, and if it didn't work well enough, I could get a more expensive one, but there's no need to spend more. This splitter works fine.

This splitter is a great thing to have however it has a bit of issues with powering devices as well as transferring. I plugged this into my USB port on the back of my computer and it it worked pretty well for only three devices. I tried plugging in two ipads and a thumb drive just to see if I can sync the device and transfer filed. Unfortunately it was not able to stay connected to all three device at the same time. It kept disconnecting. My assumption is there is not enough power being put through the splitter. I tried it with a wall plug as well and the charge is a bit slow if the charger is not QI or fast charging. I tried it out and was able to charge a few tablets but again it is not the faster through this device. You are not going to get fast charging but it will be able to charge several different items through this. The thing that is nice about this is that your can shut off USB ports to conserve power. There is a port on the hub for power plug however the cable does not come with the device. It does get pretty warm when using this device. The cable itself it not very long and is integrated into the splitter so you cannot replace it if you happen to break the cable. The switches are pretty sturdy and small and the device itself is very light. Overall this device does the job. It is able to charge multiple device given you have the right wall plug. The switches are nice to shut off ports when you do not need it. Another issue is that this is not going to be transfer at 3.0 speeds and it may not have enough power to power multiple devices on the computer usb port. You also do not get fast charging through the device, but basic charging. It does a decent job charging over night. The blue lighting is pretty bright which can be annoying but at least you know what is on or off.

My old one was at 2.0 this is the 3.0 I kept having problems with my old ones so I figured I upgrade to the 3.0 and boy Am I happy that I did thank you so much great product I wouldn't recommend this to everyone

I have multiple items that I need to connect to my computer, so this USB port was perfect for what I need. It worked perfectly, connecting all of my devices, for about 3 months. Within the past week, port lights have been turning off and on randomly (without affecting connection), but then started dropping connection to the computer from the device (with the light still on). Trying to use a corded mouse while the USB port continually cycled off and on is beyond frustrating. The item is worth the price, which is fortunately low, but not low enough. Having to purchase a replacement after just 3 months of use.

This usb extender drove me NUTS for the two years I used it (i know, why use something for two years if it's driving me crazy you may ask). It constantly disconnected itself from my computer (lenovo), so when I was trying to use my mouse or keyboard there would be no response, it would cut out my speakers, and my computer of course always made that "connected/disconnected" chime - i heard this no less than three/four times a day. I feel like this issue got even worse over the past 6 months, which is why i decided to give into buying a new splitter. I would have to physically plug/unplug several times before it would reconnect with my computer when it would disconnect itself. It would get to the point I had to restart my entire computer for the splitter to be recognized and this was becoming a more common solution than i liked. I thought the issue was my computer itself near the end, but i decided to get a splitter that is only $5 more than this one just to make sure, and i haven't had a single problem since. Keep your peace and don't purchase this !

Great addition for my mini lights, I can plug them all in and control which one's are on.

Facile a utiliser mais les interrupteurs individuels et les connecteurs sont un peu cheap.

No dislikes. No more swapping and scrabbling behind PC . Separate switches for each socket. Bonus - just happens to slot nicely into my PC stand.

Pour le produit je le trouve bas games comme qualité , il est fait de plastique cheep. Je trouve que j'ai payé un peut trop pour sa qualité . Mes pour sa fonction , ces un 100% il fonctionne bien.
