Looks durable and sturdy. Comes in big sizes. I opted for the big size so it’s easier to wear. Effective in the snow. It comes with a pouch too. Good quality, reasonable pricing.

These were perfect for what I wanted. Last winter, I slipped while clearing my driveway, and I didn’t want to do that again. These crampons were perfect during the freezing weather this winter. These crampons were great — easy to put on over a set of steel-toe boots, and stable on my feet. Even without the Velcro straps, I found them to feel secure on my boots. I’m sure using the straps would help them be even more secure.Great winter item. The case was nice; I was able to easily bring them with us when we traveled during winter weather, just in case.

I’m glad I got these for my trip to Iceland, that’s what they recommend, my wife’s which are the orange ones were lent to her for the day since the spring ones aren’t good there.

I got these to climb and weed the embankment in my backyard. I'm now able to accomplish this ghastly chore... they work great!

Throw away the yak tracks and buy these. Unless you're on pavement yaks are a waste of time.I have used these now over a dozen times hiking in the woods where there is compact snow and ice. I even used them in my neighborhood when it snowed 12 in. They are easy to put on, easy to take off, easy to clean, easy to store. And they pack down pretty small. They are obviously heavier than some cheap items like yaks. But heavier equals safer in this particular instance. Coming down places like Mount Si covered in ice would not be doable without things like this.

I used this for using to get around in the winter so that I don't slip and fall .

Ordered these last night - they arrived just as I was headed out to walk my 50+ lb. 8-month-old eager puppy in my urban Michigan neighborhood in the early part of February. How perfect! I immediately sat down & put them on - the rubber crampons slipped on, no problem except the velcro strap didn't fit over my women's 8.5 Sorel boots. The crampons stayed on without the strap, (I'll save them in the included package in case I ever use these on smaller boots) & took me over the black ice, crunchy ice, puddles, powdered snow, compacted snow and pavement that is my neighborhood's urban environment. They held up well & the puppy slipped more than me! For the approx. $20 spent, the feeling of being safe on slippery ice is priceless.

I live where it is often cold 6 months out of the year. Combined that with often heavy snow falls. Plus a weather system that can have it well into the -40s one day, then well into the high teens the next, and it can only be imagined how much ice we see each year.I find these much easier to get on, compared to a different set i had. I generally walk quickly, combined with my visual impairment, and it has led to many a fall on ice patches. With these cleats, I feel a lot more confident walking with my dogs closer to my normal speed. Even when the cleats are wet from going through a puddle, they still retain traction on ice.I have not yet used the additional Velcro straps, as I haven’t found it necessary yet. The carry bag, seems to be high-quality, and is an awesome extra. So that I don’t need to carry around a plastic bag, like I had to with my previous set.So far I have liked this set enough to recommend them to a friend. My friend, who is also blind, injured them self falling on ice. This prompted me to quickly order a pair for my friend, and I hope they find them as useful as I have.My only complaints about them at this point. I have been using them on my runners, since there is a lot of ice, but not a lot of snow. I have noticed that the cleats slide down my shoes, and this leads to them being loose on the bottom of my foot. I definitely ordered the right size, for the shoe size I wear. So I wonder if they will stay further up on boots, compared to my runners. Even with them slipping slightly, they have not come off, and have not caused me any issues while walking.

They make it much easier to walk on the ice

These are so much better than the pliable leather ones I had. They fit over various boots and shoes that I own and grip firmly in the ice. Used them to hike an icy mountain path and also at the dog park when icy rain had made it a skating rink. Can't say enough good about them. Easy on and off and reasonably priced compared to others out there. Bought a second pair to keep in vehicle.

They state they're good for cold weather of -40C, I live in Canada, so then I know they're not going to get too brittle and break. They fit well. I don't look forward to using them, but'l'm glad I have.There's a convenient little zipper pouch that seems to be made well, to keep them neat and together
