Excellent price , I was impressed by the how long it kept a charge . Also it's very light and easy to handle , I can get through matted hair too. It's quiet most of the time.Only annoying thing is the guards get stuck on and difficult to snap off sometimes.

This is an excellent trimmer which I've used many times to trim my dog's thick, fast-growing hair to keep him cool in the warm summer months. I bought this a year and a half ago, and it's still working like new. It comes with many combs to suit your dog's need - I use the 6 mm one for my dog. The battery lasts long (4-5 uses for my dog), and recharges quickly via a USB cable. It is quiet and my dog has never been bothered by it. I highly recommend this product!

I got these clippers about 2 years ago. Right off the bat I noticed that the on off switch was quirky sometimes needing several tries to turn off or on. Also the readout would only come on momentarily when plugging in the charger. I decided to keep, however because those issues not withstanding, it was a good tool. The first year passed and I would use 3 or 4 times to shave my shaggy dog till she overgrew again. I would routinely charge prior to the one hour job. This year I noticed the charge would only last a half hour, requiring me to recharge to finish her. The last time I used it, it lasted about 10 minutes. It took me 7 days to get her finished. I've been watching the charge over the last few months and it doesn't stay charged, dying at about the 5 minute mark. Once I charged; switched on and this time the charge readout appeared and stay on while running. You could watch the % drop every few seconds and it got to zero just in a few minutes. I'm gonna try to contact the seller and see if they're maybe good guys and can provide a new better replacement battery. If they do I will revise this review. If not I do not recommend Holdog. It's a rechargeable battery and was not abused nor used too much. I'm also wondering if this was a return or refurb that they slipped in. **** I heard back within a few hours. They apologized and asked if they could replace. I agreed. They did say it might take a little bit, but I an impressed with their customer service. I will update when I receive the replacement. This make me very happy as this, minus the few problems is the best clippers I've ever owned and it's quiet and doesn't scare my dog. Kudo to Holdog Sevice Team. Top stars for immediate response. This is my very first pair of dog clippers. I have always used my horse clippers on my dogs because they work well. Unfortunately this year, my $85 pair of horse clippers lost battery charging ability. I need a new one. While looking for new clippers, I ran across these. In an effort to save a bit of cash, I decided to give these a try. I was very impressed with the look of these clippers. Very nice! I like the digital display, and sure can’t beat the price! Way cheaper than horse clippers! First we tried it on my husband’s hair and beard. It cut nicely. Then tried it on my long hair Chihuahua. It cut ok, her fur is very fluffy and soft. It did do the job effectively, just sometimes I had issues when it came to the very soft frilly parts of her coat. I must add however these clippers did a way better job than my horse clippers! With the horse clippers the cut was always uneven. This one, all her fur is the same length! Love it! She looks so cute with her new hair cut! As far as quietness goes, these are about the same as the horse clippers. I love love love the 3 speeds it has! It cuts just as well on the low speed as it does the high. I wish I could leave 4 1/2 stars for this product, but they don’t offer that option. The only issue I had, was when it came to soft fluffy fur, it didn’t seem to cut as well, and little pieces of knotted fur got stuck in the comb guide, so I would have to stop and blow those out. Overall this is a great clipper! I’m going to try it on my horses next!

Great quality and battery life. I'm able to cut both my dogs( one 12lbs the other 45lbs) with battery to cut another one the next time around. Easy to use, little sound not to obnoxious. Recommend

I’m so impressed with these clippers! I have two Goldendoodles with very thick, curly hair, and these cut through it with no problem. The blades are sharp, the motor is strong, and they don’t overheat even after longer grooming sessions. I also love that they’re quieter than other clippers I’ve tried, which helps keep my dogs calm. Grooming at home has saved me so much time and money, and the results look just as good as going to the groomer. Highly recommend for anyone with doodles or dogs that have thick coats!

The power button is right where your thumb naturally rests when you are using the clippers, so I had to hold them in an unusual way. I accidentally turned them off a few times while I was using them2. Clipping 1 [standard] poodle drained about 80% of the fully-charged battery. So if you're clipping a large dog or multiple dogs, you may need to re-charge a few times.3. No case for the clippers, blades, and accessories
