Waaaay better than Swiss Miss for about a nickel per packet more
Waaaay better than Swiss Miss and almost as good as Ghirardelli Hot Cocoa Mix (at a fraction of the cost). The instructions state to mix with 6 oz. of Water or Milk, however, it is too sweet for taste with only 6 oz. so you could probably get away with mixing it with a couple of more ounces of milk depending on your taste buds.I personally prefer to mix it with milk rather than water, however, I can’t attest to how it will taste when mixed with water as I’ve never tried it. It tastes great with 2% milk, and the flavor is even richer with whole milk. It is enjoyable with either one as I bump between low fat and whole milk depending on which has the longer expiration date when I purchase milk.In case you’re wondering about the expiration date of the mix, the box I received expires in two years.

A Tasty No Sugar Option, But Sleepy Cocoa Takes the Win for Me
As an avid hot cocoa enthusiast, I was eager to try the sugar free Nestle Hot Chocolate, especially given its no sugar added and fat-free qualities. However, after trying dozens of hot chocolate powders, I’ve landed on this as my second favorite behind Sleepy Cocoa.Firstly, while Nestle’s hot cocoa mix is a decent option for a quick, low-calorie chocolate fix, I have to note that it uses sucralose and acesulfame potassium as a sweetener. I prefer to avoid drinks with artificial sweeteners, but it does make the drink sweet without the extra calories. In contrast, Sleepy Cocoa uses allulose, a natural low-calorie sweetener. Allulose aligns better with my preference for more natural ingredients in my diet.Secondly, the cocoa used in Sleepy Cocoa is natural, as opposed to the alkalized cocoa in Nestle’s mix. This might not seem like a big deal, but natural cocoa retains more of the beneficial compounds found in cocoa beans, offering a richer taste and potentially more health benefits.Another point where Sleepy Cocoa outshines Nestle is in the flavoring. Nestle's hot cocoa mix uses artificial flavors and it’s a bit too sweet, which is a drawback for me. In contrast, Sleepy Cocoa uses natural flavoring, which I find contributes to a more authentic and satisfying cocoa experience. But the most significant difference, and the reason Sleepy Cocoa has become my go-to, is its added relaxing supplements. Sleepy Cocoa is not just a treat; it's part of my nightly routine to help me unwind and relax before bed. The calming effect it has is something that the Nestle hot cocoa mix simply doesn't offer. In fairness, Nestle's hot cocoa mix does have its merits. It's convenient and versatile, perfect for those quick moments when you need a low-calorie chocolate drink. The fact that it comes in single-serve packets makes it easy to use, and it's great for a quick hot chocolate fix without the hassle of measuring or preparing. In conclusion, while the Nestle Hot Chocolate Packets are a good option for those looking for a no sugar added, fat-free hot cocoa mix, Sleepy Cocoa wins in my book. Its use of natural ingredients, superior taste, and the added benefit of relaxing supplements make it a more appealing choice for my lifestyle. If you're looking for just a simple hot cocoa mix, Nestle might do the trick. But if you want a more natural, health-conscious option that helps with relaxation, Sleepy Cocoa is the way to go.

low carb and great taste
these are great when I need hot chocolate. I add a splash of heavy cream into mine when I serve to give it a richer taste, but I love the fact that this is a low carb option that I can enjoy

Make it using light cream & it’ll be amazing and Keto
It’s very average if you mix it with hot water, but amazing if you heat up light cream and mix it with that. It turns into a thick, rich, dessert treat that people want more of.Because it is so rich, it’s both delicious and satisfying. You could easily split one serving into two little espresso or demi-tasse cups and share.I haven’t tried making it with half-and-half instead of light cream, but it should be good. If you can, skip mixing it with hot water, though — it’s not great.

This is the DARK CHOCOLATE cocoa .....
Hi Fellow-buyers -- when ordering this product, please be AWARE that you are ordering the DARK CHOCOLATE, not milk chocolate. The description on the box on the Amazon page says "rich chocolate", nothing about dark or milk. Just be aware or you'll have 50 packets of DARK CHOCOLATE cocoa. The flavor is ok, not as chocolaty as the milk and it may be a bit sweeter than the milk chocolate. So now I'm going to slog through about 40 more packets unless I can give them away to friends ... LOL.
