ZassenhausBerlin Wood Mill Refillable Pepper Grinder, 4.7-Inch, Natural Beech

I didn’t want a large or even a medium grinder. I was a little shocked at how tiny this is but I’ve grown to appreciate how easy it is to fill and use. The quality and craftsmanship of this German grinder is excellent. My main motivation for buying it was hoping it allowed a very fine pepper grind and this achieves very fine ground pepper as well as coarser grinds.

This item is a little smaller than I thought it would be, but that's my fault for not reading the description. The quality is fantastic. The woodwork is superb and the grinding teeth being ceramic will probably never wear out. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the volume of pepper that comes out could be a little heavier. I find myself having to twist a bit more than I'd like but all in all, it's a great little grinder that will most likely last forever. Made in Germany and you can tell. I recommend.Revised: Upgraded from 4 stars to 5I've been using this grinder for nearly every meal for years now. It seems to have "broken in" a bit and my gripe about the volume it dispenses has been quashed; after years of use, it dispenses more pepper now and actually works better than when it was new. It's loosened up (in a good way) and it still looks new. The grinder is comfortable to use, attractive and it's become an adored little tool in my kitchen. I've used some cheaper grinders since I've purchased this and you can tell immediately that they are lower quality. This little grinder sets the bar! Few things you purchase these days are good enough to pass on to your kids but this one is. Hopefully, someday someone will be cooking with this grinder while referring to it as "grandpa's" pepper mill. I guess I should have some kids first though.Love this thing!

Excellent quality. The best Peppermill we've ever owned. The adjustable grind is spot on with the variety of fine to course grind, and the wood finish is perfect.

Well made, great size for keeping on spice turntable, holds good amount of pepper corns. Happy with purchase.

I like it because the mechanism is ceramic and does well with humidity. It grinds very fine. The quality of the wood is excellent. I bought a second one.

This grinder consistently produces finally ground pepper. It's small so it's ideal for the dining table. I have a larger one in the kitchen for cooking.

Initially bought this brand of pepper mill in Germany. Tried to get a replacement here in England and could only find other brands which turned out to be *hopeless* and worked very poorly.I will not use anything else. This is the best!

Prodotto davvero fantastico! Per chi ama la cucina questo è il miglior macinapepe che si possa trovare in commercio, molto meglio di Peugeot...La macina è in ceramica e sulla ghiera sono indicate 6 tacche per macinatura più o meno fine (1 finissimo fino a 6 grossolana).Il legno chiaro è bellissimo, di ottima fattura, per il pepe io preferisco questo tradizionale piuttosto che quello trasparente. Ho provato altri macinini per il pepe rosa e non ne funzionava uno, questo va benissimo.Arriva con grani di pepe nero all’interno per permettere di provare il tipo di macinazione, poi si butta e si mette il proprio.Super soddisfatta!Allego foto per rendere conto della grandezza e dell’altezza (alto come le clsssiche spezie Cannamela per intenderci)

Di solito non lascio recensioni, tantomeno negative. Però ho ordinato per due volte lo stesso oggetto e mi è sempre arrivato senza confezione (direttamente nella scatola Amazon), usato e con del pepe dentro. Rendiamoci conto del livello, per un oggetto che non costa certo poco.Imbarazzante poi il servizio clienti Amazon che ti prende costantemente in giro ("non succederà più", "ritireremo dalla vendita il prodotto"... ovviamente tutte cose false). Dispiace perché secondo me il prodotto è ottimo, ma così è una presa in giro. Attenti a cosa vi arriva...
