Citrus scented, not too heavy. The amount of texture and volume you desire is definitely dependent on how much product you use! A little generally goes a long way. Unlike texture powder and like products, it’ll leave your hair smooth and NOT coarse. It has minimal shine and a somewhat wet look. For hair that was recently shampooed and conditioned, I was surprised to find that it creates a quality look with separation, volume, texture, layering, and shine. I have a mod cut/shag and even used it to shape sideburns.
