Curious George at the Zoo: A Touch and Feel Book

Cute book that my grandson is now learning who curious George is.

This is my son's very favorite book. We read it over and over and over. I also bought it for a friend's little girl and she loves it as well. I love that George is hidden on every page, it makes for a fun game of hide-and-seek when we grow tired of the same story over and over. I also like that there are unique textures in this book, like wicker for the bamboo basket George pops out of at the end of the story. Well worth the money for a fun kid's book, especially if you're a Curious George fan.

Sensory and fun! A great book for babies and toddlers!

I purchased this for a book exchange for my 1 yr old daughter's preschool class. I let her look at it before I wrapped it, and she loved it. I ended up ordering a second copy for her for Christmas, and she still loves it. There is an opening on the front cover, so that you can "feel" the panda. That same soft texture is also the texture for the first page of the book. There is another similar soft texture for a giraffe later in the book with giraffe print. There is a smooth shiny texture for water, a woven texture for a basket, and a rough, leathery texture for another animal.

My 1 and 2 year olds daughters love this book. My oldest is always pulling my youngest daughters hand across the different fabrics so sissy can feel. They really like it and although the book is short the textures make it interactive.

My son loves Curious George. He has a Curious George stuffed animal and loves to watch the TV show. He also loves reading books before bed and he's 14 months old, so he's mostly entertained by the touch & feel books. This one looked like a great price so I ordered it.I am very satisfied with this book. Each of the pages has a unique thing to touch: a penguin, smooth "water", a rhino's skin, a rough basket. Also on each page, you have to find where George is hiding! (It's not a flap book but George has his head poking out from behind a tree, rock, etc.) Very cute ideas and well executed in this book. It's also a good size and again, I love the price. I'll have to buy more Curious Geroge books for my son around Christmas time!

My 11 month old son absolutely loves this "touch and feel" book that features his favorite buddy, George. He loves to flip the pages over and over and feel the different textures while I say what they are "rough, soft, smooth, etc". This one has a cute little story and even at 11 months my son loves that George is "hidden" on a few of the pages and he is quite proud of himself when he points to George to indicate that he "found" him. This is a great little board book for the younger crowd! :-)

My almost 10 month old loves this book! My 7 year old loves to read it to him. Win win. The textures are nicely varied. In some touch and feel books there isn't a lt of variation. (Ie fuzzy cow, fuzzy duck, fuzzy pig ear.). The textures in this book are a lot more diverse. There are soft fuzzie things to feel, but my son's like the water, a smooth reflective material and the basket, a rough ropes material, the best. It also has a "where is curious George" picture on every other page and is more interactive than your typical touch and feel book.

Fun book with a bunch of touch and feel zoo animals! Such a fun little adventure book that is a hit with my son!

I had gotten this book for my 2 year old. I liked that it's a touch and feel interactive book. It was around the time we went to the zoo. The great part about this book is a child understands textures and colors besides the animals. It has simple write ups for children and parents to go with it!
