Sample of Non-tire Jelly Bean Rubber Mulch- Handful Sized Sample

I ordered this sample planning on putting around a swing-set for my grandkids. I knew this was cut pieces of tile but did not expect it to be so hard and have so many sharp corners. I would not recommend this as a safe fall zone around a swing-set

I bought this for my under my swingset. It is suits the need and looks good

It was such a small amount for the price. The pieces were so small that I wasn't sure if it really represented how it would be in large amounts. The positive is that it's not made from tires and isn't painted.

Perfect, BUT...sad we wouldn't be able to play in it without shoes! So, not the right fit for us right now unless it softens over time?

We chose this product, despite its higher cost, because it is much safer than rubber mulch made from recycled tires. It has no metal and no phthalates and other chemicals. Many municipalities are now banning the use of recycled tire rubber in school and public playgrounds because of health concerns.For example, all the tire-based rubber mulch we looked at is "99.9% metal free," but with 12,000 pounds of mulch, that means our kids would be playing on a surface that contained 120 pounds of wire. No thanks.Once installed to a 4-inch depth, Jelly Bean Rubber Mulch provides a very safe, comfortable surface to protect children from falls. It has no sharp edges at all; it is a very soft, flexible material. It looks great and feels nice underfoot when we walk on it.We are very satisfied with this innovative product.

We love our jellybean mulch! Everything went smoothly in purchase and delivery. But the product itself is what we love most. We live in a wind tunnel and needed a good product for our backyard playground that wouldn't blow away, the jellybean mulch stays where you put it, and it's so soft and cushiony to walk on, just a fantastic product!
