I purchased this product to keep my oven door closed. The door springs weakened over the 20 years of use and abuse, and the existing door springs were not able to completely close the door while the oven was on. I applied the door lock, which was quite easy to mount in a horizontal position on the oven face panel just above the door opening and waited 72 hours, per the instructions, for the adhesive to reach maximum strength. Now the door can be closed and the lock easily turned vertical, and the oven door stays closed while the oven is running.

I'm using it for my washer. My grandson is autistic and thinks it's his toy box. Everything goes in it. He also loves to bang the lid. Goes on strong and holds cover down. Easy to turn and open lid. Comes in very handy, from little hands opening the lid.

This is an amazing little product that is easy to use and simple to install. Having a new little one around the house makes us want to take extra precautions to ensure he doesn't get hurt, especially on something that could have been prevented. This is a great product that is very inexpensive and it keeps our son from opening the oven door as he loves to pull on the handle and sometimes he tries to hang on it. This safety lock has kept him from being able to open it by accident. I highly recommend this for anyone with young children around.

Guys this thing is so bad, I literally laughed so hard! One, my kids and I could still open the oven with this properly in place. The glue on it doesn't hold it to the oven door and when I turned on my oven the glue would heat up too, get soft and either fall off or stretch so the door easily opens. Finally, one day it fell into the oven while it was on and no one noticed. It caught on fire in my oven and I had to throw a glass of water on it to put out the flames. It smelled terrible of plastic fumes. Then had to somehow get all the melted plastic out of my oven. I has to scrape it off for 30-45 mins with a butter knife. The plastic was so sticky!!! I'll tell you what I told my husband. JUST WATCH THE KIDS WHEN COOKING, THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTION FOR GOOD SUPERVISION!!!

The adhesive is sturdy and strong enough that it could handle both my toddlers pulling on it. The mechanism is easy to turn and open. It was the right size as to not interfere with any other part of the oven. I would buy it again for another door or appliance like the dishwasher.

Got this because my 9 month old loves to climb - including things that shouldn't be climbed!It was easy to install, just made sure instead of centering it (which would have been my initial inclination) I centered it in the open position.Which makes it look off center when locked, but at least I can open the door!Great design and works like a charm when the littlest monkey goes a-climbing.I wish all baby safety products were as elegant and easy to use!

Does what it suppose to. Protects kids from accessing the oven, adhesion was and is still fine, quality seems decent. It's easy for us to open, but our small kids haven't figured it out yet, which is great.
