All of the Eve Energy products are the best I’ve ever found to control, power on, and schedule lights, appliances and gadgets. The Eve app lets you completely geek out over stats, costs, and condition of every smart item in your house. They even redesigned this plug so it fits nicely with another plug in the wall outlet. Smart, efficient, affordable, and safe.

The timer function works, the energy monitoring is great. It integrates well with HomeKit. It uses Bluetooth, so it doesn’t use data on your WiFi or take up bandwidth. I had no problems setting them up. The app is great, you don’t need to set up an account or give a bunch of personal information. Their privacy policy is fantastic compared to all others I’ve read.

My primary reason for purchasing this device was its power metering capability. The device was easy to set up with my iPhone + Eve app with a Apple Home Pod Mini as a hub. So far it has functioned flawlessly on its own timer or via voice commands from the Home Pod or switching it on or off via my phone/iPad. The power meter function appears to be accurate judging from very cursory testing and in conjunction with the Eve app it makes tracking power consumption over time very easy. The switch function can be controlled from the device itself by tapping its built-in switch/indicator when no controlling device is handy. However, at its current price a four-star rating is generous.

Works as advertised! Interesting to see the stasticitcs regarding power usage. Although it has trouble turning things off properly, vice just cutting the power as it does. For example, I turn off the AC via HomeKit or HomePod, ends up successfully turning g off the AC, although it requires a hard reset because it switches the breaker and immediately kills the poker, rather than letting my AC power down.Pretty frustrating... but hey, what are you gonna do?(p.s.) the app “Eve” (used for this device) is pretty terrible and unintuitive.

This is my fourth Eve plug for my Apple HomeKit and I like the smaller size and ability to stack two in the same outlet. Getting it setup is relatively easy using the iPhone app, although adding it to scenes and automation can be challenging given the Eve app and the HomeKit app use different sets of automation scenes to control the devices. While each outlet can have custom on and off times, it is easier to add a device to a preexisting set of timers or scenes as using varying timers can cause random results with the devices turning on and off, which necessitated deleting all of the timers and rules and adding them back again into a singe rule. It would be nice to have a manual explaining how to set up scenes such as turning off all the lights in various rooms using the Goodnight scene in the Eve app. I found setting up the outlets to turn on lamps in the HomeKit app at around sunset, and then turn them off using the scenes in the Eve app was the easiest approach. They can also be individually activated using Siri commands, most of the time.While I like this outlet's size, I find the price to be a bit high for what it does. Also, there are times when commands using Siri need to be repeated to manually turn an outlet on or off. Overall, however, I am very pleased with the outlet's functions and would not hesitate to purchase more of these.

The media could not be loaded. Same as "ballcock" comment. Defective out of box.But I waiting for replacement. Unfortunately I already order 3 plugs.Unbelievable the quality of german product worst than I expect.

Tried both Wemo and Meross HomeKit compatible smart plugs, with much effort finally was able to connect them both with my dual WiFi connection. The eve plug connected instantly with no issues. Definitely a 5 star!

Kudos to Eve on this. Their outlets have been the standard-bearer for HomeKit outlets. High Quality Build, Excellent App, Easy-Set-up and seamless integration with HomeKit.That all remains true except now, you get a smaller footprint, meaning that you can use 2 of these now for each pair of wall outlets in your house. The new model juts out from the wall a little more than the older model but it's not too noticeable and comparable with other smart outlets.Set-up is simple and the Eve app is one of the best HomeKit apps available for iOS. Control, Measure, Track, build automations, it does it all very well.If you're new to automating your home and/or looking to add functionality to more devices, Eve's new outlet is your best choice. Period.
