This should have been invented a long time ago.
Better than the Styrofoam covers. Easier to use, also!

Survived the Big Texas Winter Storm!
I know, there's no sympathy for Texas when it comes to winter storms (or our usual lack thereof) but in February 2021 we took an extreme (for us) beating of over a week of hard freezes/snow/ice. Our houses are not made for that kind of weather!I bought these and had them on from the beginning and they were great, no issues with freezing faucets! I discovered partway through the storm that one of my faucets was dripping and the nice part of these covers was the water was actually absorbed in them in the corner, away from the faucet itself, so it did not cause any damage. Now that we have thawed out I will definitely be storing these for next winter and will never return to the old box covers again.

Fit larger faucets
I have a newer house with backflow preventors on the faucet, plus I use quick disconnect adaptors on my hoses. I was having to remove the quick disconnects in the fall so that the foam style covers would fit on the faucets. With these I can leave the quick disconnects on the faucets and still get them winterized.
