Amazing Quality
This knife comes razor sharp out of the box. It fits in the sheath perfectly, and the sheath and straps are made well. The blade and the handle are both very solid, also.

Not what I expected from Kershaw
I am a big fan of Kershaw knives - particularly Ken Onion designs. I was somewhat disappointed by this Chinese product. Used in saltwater diving it shows corrosion very quickly - before I even got it to the freshwater rinse bucket. Also, the blade showed slight damage after scraping some barnacles off a boat UW light. Better steel quality would address these issues. On the positive side, the scabbard is well designed and easy to draw, yet secure.

Great deal
Excellent quality product. The straps are a little uncomfortable against bare skin, but it's not horrible once you're underwater. Would definitely recommend to divers.

Piece of junk
I tried to cut a piece of kevlar string with this and the blade broke in half. Junk is all I can say. Big waste of money!!!

Wrong components
This knife is made with a great blade, but the handle feels flimsy and I was weary about diving with a plastic grip. Another note, this knife was shipped to me with a different sheath than the actual Kershaw sheath advertised. Disappointing given that the straps did not fully work with the sheath making it uncomfortable to wear and untrustworthy in the water.

Quality of the blade is great, and I love the brightness on the handle in the event you drop it somewhere. Unless you have neon yellow leaves where you hike, it's easy to spot on the ground. The locking mechanism snaps very well. Some might say it's too secure, but I'd rather that than it falling out of the sheath when jogging through the woods. My only issues start with the heavy rubber smell. It's as if you're in a tire factory. Also when removing and re-inserting the knife to the sheath, on occasion I get a few small plastic shavings. For the cost, it's definitely worth it. It stays sharp for quite some time, as long as you know how to sharpen a knife properly.

My son liked it!
I gave this to my son, the scuba diver, for Christmas. He hasn't had the opportunity to use it yet (other than to open the rest of his Christmas gifts), but he immediately appreciated the day-glow coloration of the handle. He also appreciated the scabbard and straps and the fact that the knife doesn't fall out of the scabbard by gravity.

Not a bad dive knife.
Kershaw is one of my favorite brands. I'll admit, the mechanism for attaching the sheath to my leg (or wherever), is a bit oddly-designed, but it does work. It's difficult to get the blade back into the sheath while it's on my leg, underwater or out of the water. Angles, really. If I'm holding both in my hands, it's easy, but not while it's on my leg. I forgot to fully dry the blade after its first use in salt water and it developed rust that I am unable to remove by hand. Oh well. Still quite enjoy it. Great design. Just a few hits here and there.
