I'm so happy I did! They write small which I love- but not so small it's hard to make out. I have the Pentel needle tip 0.3 which I like, but because it's so thin the ink can be hard to read a little bit ion my opinion. This ink is dark, it comes out smooth, and a perfect size. The plastic pen is fine. In that regard, it's just a pen.
