I noticed that there in not a hose attached to the brass piece, and wanted to ask if all parts are with it?

This is not a complete steaming kit, it does not come with a hose, a clothes steaming head, or a hanging stand. All of those parts can be bought from Jiffy as extras, but if you want the whole kit it might be better to buy a J-2 steamer and then buy the hat steaming attachment as an extra.

Can the water caddy be filled during steam cycle for continuous use (just like on the J-2000H Model)?

Yes if you don't take too long.

Can I attach wheels, hose and other spare parts from a broken Jiffy steamer? It is the same steamer with wheels and all the other attachment.

I doubt that it would work. The J1 is made for counter top use. You would have to modify the baseplate to accommodate wheels .

How long is the power cord. Does it need to be plugged-in directly to a wall outlet or can it be used with an extension cord?

The cord is about 7 feet long. I've never used an extension cord with it, but it is a heat-producing machine so I would use a three-wire appliance cord if anything.
