Love this! Bought it for making Laab/ Laap / Larb, a delicious and favorite Thai dish in our house. It comes shipped directly from Thailand, which we liked even more. Authentic. For the quality and for two pouches I think it's a fair price. We like and are happy to support a small family business product anytime we can compared to giant big box conglomerates like Costco or Walmart... And so will buy from them again. As another reviewer noted, the packaging, and the grind are different than pictured.Received yesterday with a manufacture date of 6 months ago and a BBE date of 6 months from now.Overall, I’m happy with the purchase, but it will have to be used differently than what I expected due to grind.

Any dish that suggest pepper flakes use this in moderation. We love to use this product on just about everything it's in a shaker just like our salt and pepper.. I place it in batter or dry flour for frying. Chili--Gumbo--Stir Fry--Sauces any dish + heat, try this product.

This quickly made it to the table spice status in our home. We love spicy, but have to cook mild - so everyone in family can enjoy a recipe, or alter its heat to taste. This Chili ads a lot of heat in a small pinch, but will not change the flavor of your meal. It is different, than adding ground black pepper, or cayenne flakes, and gives out the distinct Thai cuisine "burn". Got two 100-gram (3.5 oz each) bags delivered, with understandable delay, straight from Bangkok, with manufacturing date only about a month prior to placing the order, so a long shelf life (if it lasts).

This is from a small, family owned shop in Thailand. The flavor is pretty good, I have only sprinkled some on a few dishes. My main concern is that what I got has no large pepper flakes, it's completely granulated, like a powder, so the image is deceptive. It requires a different container than I would use for the larger flakes. However, the heat is good, neutral, and it's a great price !

Awesome product as intended for its purpose. It is supposed to add heat without flavor and it does just that in spades.
