pretty item, and lots of fun
Bought for a family member. She said the item is super pretty! Enjoyed working the puzzle part to open it! Was shipped quickly. For puzzle lovers I would recommend.

Excellent quality, Economic and good Craftsmanship
Excellent, especially at this price I would expect to pay more for the quality of workmanship. I spent 2 months trying to identify the perfect puzzle box for my Brother-in-Law for Christmas and there were so many amazing ones, at greater than $100.00 On the more affordably range there are many Japanese Kosegi puzzles with atrocious art on the covers that gives one a headache to look at. I'd expected to be able to see or wiggle some of the pieces and they were all solid with the appropriate amount of resistance. My one drawback is that I'd hoped it would be big enough I could put a chocolate orange inside, and I failed to measure correctly. It's actually quite large, I can fit two smartphones in it but it's longer than it is tall so a large spherical orange is right out.

Good quality
This was a decent challenge for a beginner. Desent quality material and worth the cost.

Excellent customer service
This was a Christmas gift for my visiting 15 yr old grandchild. The box is beautiful and he enjoyed the puzzle to find the key. Unfortunately, the metal key did not work and he couldn't open it. I sent a request to Amazon for a replacement, and we were so surprised when in arrived in 2 days. Right at the peak time of Holiday deliveries. They were packing for their trip home. He loves the box and the key works very well. Thanks to everyone who help make a family so pleasantly surprised!

A little pricey, but very fun
We have a tradition in my family that a certain item is passed to a new person every Christmas. But it has to be wrapped a certain way. This box was perfect! It took me a good half an hour to figure out. And my 8-year old cousin figured it out in about this same! I intended to get the box back from him after Christmas but he liked it more than the actual gift. It's a little pricey for what you get, but a lot of fun.

Cool?
I bought this for my daughter, who’s a big book lover, thinking it would be a fun, cute brain teaser to keep her busy for a bit. Calling this puzzle "eloquent" might be a stretch. It’s a fun concept and works as a novelty gift, especially for hiding another small gift, but the craftsmanship leaves a lot to be desired. It’s a bit janky and not the most well-made, but for the price, it’s a decent and unique little surprise.

Great for Small Fidget Toys
We are a homeschool family and we got this box to be our treasure box for small toys for the kids to pick something at the end of the week for their good attitudes. They LOVE the secret key and secret lock component. Of course the initial figuring out was the most exciting, but now that they know how to get the key and lock, we hide the key around the house to hunt for the key before opening.

Its comple and total junk
... this was literally the biggest waste of money I've ever experienced. Ever. I opened the box, was able to decipher the wooden slides to get to the key, but I noticed it was balsa wood so soft it could be carved with a finger nail. That's probably why one of the corners of one of the books was busted off. The worst part however was the metal lock. Junk.I would barely turn to open the box and then when I tried to lock it back...it broke. The mechanism the key turn to move the locking pin snapped off. This was the 1st time I tried to lock it. The lock cost maybe 2 cents in bulk and I paid $50 for it. Its staggering how subpar this thing was. It went straight back to junkbuilders.com
