That you can depend on good quality
I used it for the reason I bought it what more can you do with a toaster than toast bread

Nearly 4 minutes to toast a slice of bread?..Not fit for purpose.
Almost 4 minutes to toast a slice of room temperature bread even on dial 5 or 6 ??. It costs more in electricity that a loaf of bread!.It may be faulty but I no longer have the box.Should that matter?

Browning controls not very good
The browning controls not very good - setting 4 takes an inordinate time and bread comes out barely coloured ( using Morrison’s whole meal toastie) our previous model (20 years old) same manufacturer was miles better and toasted better at much lower setting unfortunately our son took that one with him when he moved out!

A good toaster
The toaster toasts well, takes thicker items,e.g. tea cakes, but does not take a whole slice of a normal large loaf with out squashing the slice into the toaster.

Dissatisfied with this toaster
We through away our old toaster and brought a Russell hops toaster model21654 but now when we have toast we have to cut crusts of to get it in the toaster we have tried different types of bread to no avail the bread that does go in it comes out anemic even on setting 5/6 very dissatisfied we would send it back no box look forward to hearing from you your truly M Knight

I'll toast to that!
A very good toaster. The other one we had wouldn't do muffins or crumpets in it. This one has slots wide enough to do this. It's easy to clean, has a pop up function, toasts well and is stylish looking. A very good price for what it does.
