This Rack + Thread Locker = GREAT RACK
I’ve been using the Body-Solid Three-Tier Horizontal Dumbbell Rack (GDR363) for more than 8 years now (June 2011). The rack was easy to put together. There are no sharp or rough edges on the metal shelves or legs. The one lesson learned having built & using this rack is to use thread locker when assembling. This will keep the nuts & bolts from loosening & falling off the rack. Tight bolts will keep the rack sturdy & prevent it from leaning to either side. The 3 shelves are directly above each other as this is designed to keep the footprint to a minimum. This makes it great for a home gym w/limited space. This does make it a bit more difficult to place & remove heavier weights on the middle & bottom tier than it would be if they were offset at an angle. I am ok w/sacrificing this for keeping the footprint to a minimum.I am storing pairs of 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 & 40lbs. I have plenty of room to add another pair of dumbbells, 45 or 50lbs. The rack does not sway or tip when I remove or place any of the weights on the rack. I have confidence this rack will last me another 8 years w/out issue.I can honestly say Body-Solid did a great job designing & manufacturing their Three-Tier Horizontal Dumbbell Rack (GDR363) as an affordable piece of equipment for the home gym. Should you buy one? Yes & some thread locker.

Awesome Rack
I bought this rack because I was tired of the floor space it took for all my husbands weights! It came just in time for Christmas and was very easy to assemble along with being very sturdy and well built! it easily fit all his weights 5-50 lbs and cleared up a ton of floor space! We love this rack and great price! Thank you!

Great Rack
The rack is solid and of good quality but I did have to drill one of the holes in the last shelf piece to make it larger. The hole was measured incorrectly during manufacturing apparently. Other than that I’m happy with the rack and it saves a lot of space and organizes my gym

A Gym Quality Rack For The Home
I'm always skeptical about buying items like this... sure, it LOOKS like the real deal, but when I unbox it, is it going to be a cheap piece of crap? The Body Solid GDR363 rack is the real deal and does the job with good looks and doesn't take up a lot of space.Pros:-very sturdy-SUPER EASY to put together, it took me 10 minutes start to finish and no need to read instructions. It consists of 12 bolts and 6 plastic caps-it comes with touch up paint, just in case, which I thought was a very nice gesture by the companyCons:- will not fit an entire 5-50lb RUBBER set, pay close attention to the picture, it's missing a pair-If you're using cast iron dumbells, you'll probably want to buy some rubber protective strip for the rack, as it's not included. Otherwise, it's metal on metal.

It Could be better but it works.
I'm working with limited space so I bought this one thinking it would fit closer to the wall then the ones that lean back. With the base, it doesn't. It holds the whole rack off vertically ferther off the wall. It makes it a little harder to get the dumbbells off the bottom rack but not hard enough to feal the need to get a new one. Other then that, it's sturdy and holds my dumbbells. It works fine.

Even fits chrome dumbells
Excellent rack for the money.I bought this rack hoping I could make it work for my chrome dumbell set and it does. I just turned the bottom plate on each level around the other way. I'm also able to fit all my dumbells,10lbs to 50lbs .Rack was very easy to put together. All my screw holes matched up perfectly. I was a little concerned from reading other post about the holes matching up, but figured either way I'd make it work. Looks good with my Body solid bench in my weight room and will be joined by a plate rack from body solid in a few weeks .I will try to add a few pictures

Very sturdy and functional weight rack
This non-bulky and sturdy weight rack fits all of my dumbbells, including a 9 lbs. weight ball, my Reebok step, and a Bosu that I can prop up on the very top for easy access. Obviously,I do not have as many sets of dumbbells as some of the other commentators so I don't have any issues with my dumbbells (7 sets: 3, 5, 8, 10, 15, 20, and 25 lbs) not fitting properly. My 3lbs are of neoprene material and do not fit, I have to stack sideways as someone else previously commented. As far as assembly, my husband put it together and didn't think it was that difficult to assemble. Highly recommend!
