This is not a silent dog whistle, and that's not what it's meant to be so make sure you understand what you're buying I got this for off leash recall for my young husky girl when we go to my parents' 20 acre property and we started training with it at home. I only use it in a very specific way so that it keeps it's high value return and it doesn't get overused like our "come" command sometimes does. She gets 2 quick bursts on the whistle and then a high value treat reward and she picked it up super quickly. Any time she hears the whistle she comes sprinting back. She's done good off leash at the property before but sometimes she gets a little too excited and runs way ahead where she either can't hear me or turns her husky ears on and doesn't want to hear me lol, so this whistle will save me having to yell all over the property and I feel like she'll be able to hear it much easier from farther away than my voice.

Wanted a train a dog with a whistle. This model has been known as one of more popular dog whistles in the training world. It's pitch differs from the referee at sporting events or some of the retriever trainers. I've found it useful for this owner and her dog as she can now call her dog with ease and the tone of the whistle is not as loud.

Lol. Was gonna try and use this as Rock chuck call but didn't turn out as I hoped. But it has a good chirp to get a dogs attention for training or what ever.

This doesn't seem any different than a regular whistle. My dog completely ignores it and it is loud enough to bother the neighbors if I am using it to try to get my dog to come in - which she doesn't, because again, she ignores it like she can't even hear it. She comes to my own pitiful attempts to whistle better than this.

Bought this to teach my dogs a whistle recall. Works well, the dogs love it also because they know the sound predicts cookies!

Die Pfeife ist toll. Mein Hund hört super darauf wenn er will :)) Da man sie schnell mal verlegt kann man die problemlos nachkaufen da die Frequenz immer gleich ist. Ich habe nun 2 weitere gekauft, da ich die andere verlegt hatte. Nun habe ich 4 Stück davon :))

Works great as a gun dog whistle. (Retrievers). I also got a 210.5 for spaniels elsewhere. The work as advertised and are what I would expect from an ACME whistle. A bit pricey on Amazon but a good whistle.
