Review: Perfect replacement and silent - Good quality replacement fan for the one which had stopped working in the loft. Easy to wire up and install, this is the non timer version as there was only a live and neutral. Comes on with the light and goes off when the light is turned off. Seems very silent however it is in-line and installed in the loft.

The connection points are weak and liable to break. However, I managed to apply extra strength and stability by using several rounds of ducting tape.

**Q: Hi, it is quiet as described but does not seem to extract well, it is sited approx. 1 metre from shower in ceiling, am I missing something?**
A: No, you are not. It's a lot noisier than the unit it replaced, and frankly, I'd get a bigger draft if I kicked an asthmatic dwarf in the crutch!

**Q: How can i change the fans speed? it’s wired into l2, but l1 is blocked off by plastic. do i need to move the brown wire from l2 position to l1? thanks**
A: If I remember .. you unplug the plastic and move it along, putting it in the other holes

**Q: Does this product require a transform?**
A: This product does not require a transformer.

**Q: Can this be set up to come on and off with the light and does it have a timer so I carrys on for a min or two after light gets turned off**
A: I have mine turning on and off with the light, It does not have a timer function.
The shear volume it sucks out, the timer is not missed. 
 I have split the ducting and mounted two grills in the ceiling.

Good quality replacement fan for the one which had stopped working in the loft. Easy to wire up and install, this is the non timer version as there was only a live and neutral. Comes on with the light and goes off when the light is turned off. Seems very silent however it is in-line and installed in the loft.

This is a good value replacement for any extractor system using ducting. Providing a great deal more suction and throughput than most conventional installations. This has significantly improved the extraction and air flow out of the bathroom, enabling a much dryer after environment. My only criticisum is that the fitting of the motor assembly into the supply frame box uses two plastic pull down latches to hold the motor unit in place. The connection points are weak and liable to break. However, I managed to apply extra strength and stability by using several rounds of ducting tape.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ DIY installed inline air pump

Used to cool inverter in a cupboard with pump placed in the loft. Very quite when operating, almost silent. Negative issues: 1. Arrow on case does not show direction of air flow but is simply pointing to a QR code. Only realised when pump was sending air in the wrong direction. 2. Wiring instructions confusing, the unit has 2x lives and 1 neutral which is not shown in the wiring diagram. It shows 5 wires? Seems that if you connect L1 and L2 together, it produces maximum power output. Connect either L or L1 only and it pumps at a slower rate. ( I'm a DIYer not an electrician so maybe its me at fault) Overall, very pleased as it does the job, is very quiet, and the cheapest unit on Amazon.
