Emergency repairs
Good to have for emergency repairs. I wouldn't trust it for high pressure pipes more than a stopgap until a real repair can be made, but it holds if you use it right. Don't open the bag until you need to use it.

Not as good as it says
This product is poor at best only slowed the leak for a verry short time if you can afford it just get a plumber or cut and patch the line as if it stops the leak that will only last about 12 hours or so junk item but there really is no affordable way to fix plumbing these days either a case of these or 2 to 3 grand on a plumber for 2 inches of copper

This Repair Kit saved my Washing Machine hoses from the RATS!!!
This product saved my "neck!" - That is, my washing machine broke down because I've got rats in the basement (brown country rats - a bit different from mean nasty looking City Rats) - who were coming up through the floor and chewing on the plastic hoses 'til they wouldn't hold the water flowing through. We were told by one plumber to get rid of the rats before installing new hoses because there was no point since the rats would just chew on the new materials, too. I had a picture that somehow I could encase the plastic hoses in metal to protect them from the rats and on a trip to Lowe's (home products and hardware chain store) a very nice helpful sales associate showed me this product and suggested I try it. So we ordered the new hoses and wrapped them securely with this Repair Kit material (took about five packages I think) and so far - it's been about a month - (I hope I'm not jinxing this situation!) - and so far, no damage from the rats! The fellow from Lowes said he really couldn't picture that rats could eat through this material - with the fiberglass and the fact that it turns hard - like metal. Well - so far he's been right on and I'm most grateful! I got my washing machine back - and that makes a big difference for me! I know other people have had this problem, too, with rats - so I hope they discover this excellent product for this rather unique problem!I'm very grateful!!
