Saved my plants during hot summer days. I have a robust container garden and I use these to lower the amount of water I have to use in the garden. My only complaint is that they are a bit fragile, so be careful putting the bottles into them. But honestly I love them. My garden has totally died during vacations before, but I am able to go away for a week with no issues whatsoever. Also they are a great value. Highly recommend!

This is the second time I have ordered these. I was very skeptical at first but they work!!!! We were going out of town and I have lots of plants in containers that require daily watering because we have had brutal temperatures without rain. I was amazed how well these worked. I didn't lose and plants. Wine bottles fit perfectly and the water filters slowly into the soil. Word of caution...read the directions! Make a hole in the soil before placing spike, then add your bottle. I make the mistake of to shove the wine bottle and spike together into the soil. Yes, these are terra cotta and they will break if you don't follow the directions. Definitely worth the money and I highly recommend them.

They work as advertised and fit on wine bottles very well. If you’re using this you should make sure to loosen up soil before pushing in the watering steak because they can’t handle too much pressure. I broke two pushing them into the soil with filled bottles attached. Build quality is good, not great as they feel fragile. No leakage as long as there aren’t any cracks. Overall 4/5 value for the price.

They work great, but it rained so much this summer we haven’t needed them. We’ll need them during drought times. They really work nicely. Do not push the bottle in. Do not push them in the dirt. Twisting them in the dirt with your hand and then put the bottle in. The bottle will easily shatter them.

However, once winter arrived, many of them cracked and broke, unable to withstand freezing temperatures. If you live in a mild climate, they're a great addition to your garden. But if you experience harsh winters, consider bringing them indoors or using a more durable alternative.

These are excellent quality well built and a good price. When I received the item one of the spikes was broken. I contacted the company by email who responded promptly and sent not one but two replacement parts. I will definitely use this company again.

They worked great. You need wine bottles or water bottles to hold the water. The spikes gradually water the plants.
