A replacement!
I needed this on cassette and here is is on Amazon for $8. What a score! We need more major labels to reissue cassettes. Many cassets are reaching their lifespan and I want to replace my entire collection.

Una joya del hard rock clásico!
The media could not be loaded. Appetite for Destruction era un "Must Have" en mi colección de vinilos! Tener acceso a esta joya en este formato es algo de otro mundo, el poster que trae en su interior es muy bonito, y la calidad del sonido increíble, me siento muy contento de que el artículo haya venido en perfectas condiciones, y no tardó absolutamente nada en llegar.

A Life Changing Album
To start off, Appetite For Destruction is an 18x Platinum album, making it the most best-selling album of all time world-wide, Surpassing the album Boston(by Boston). Next, this is the review of the songs:1.WELCOME TO THE JUNGLEA great start for entering the Appetite, it has very violent lyrics, but it is one of the best songs on the album.2.IT'S SO EASY [EXPLICIT]One out of two of the songs on the album that front-man Axl Rose shows his deeper voice. It also has violent lyrics, and has explicit lyrics (cussing).3.NIGHTRAINA drinking song, about cheap Californian wine. This song is not explicit in anyway (unless you find the lyrics,"and I can tell you honey, you can make my money tonight." explicit).4.OUT TA GET ME [EXPLICIT]The song is about running away from police. The song has explicit lyrics (cussing).5.MR BROWNSTONE [EXPLICIT]A song about drugs (the lyrics,"I used to do a little but the little didn't do it, so the little got more and more. Just kept trying to get a little better, said a little better than before.") It has explicit lyrics (cussing).6.PARADISE CITYOne of the best songs on the album. The song is about 'getting away from this life'. It has no explicit lyrics in anyway.7.MY MICHELLEOne of my favorites. It has the word, "porno", which I guess they say is explicit.8.THINK ABOUT YOUA ballad, and is NOT EXPLICIT!!!!!!!!! NOT EVEN A LITTLE!!!!!! THEY MESSED UP!!!!!!9.SWEET CHILD O' MINEOne of the best songs on the album. Many people know this album from that song, it's a very beautiful ballad.10.YOU'RE CRAZY [EXPLICIT]A very fast song. It has explicit lyrics (cussing)11.ANYTHING GOES [EXPLICIT]A song that many don't know. It dosen't have any cussing, the lyrics are sexually explicit.12.ROCKET QUEEN [EXPLICIT]Even though it dosen't say explicit, it is sexually explicit, but other than that, it's a real good song. This is My Review, and I recommend this album to anyone who likes any kind of rock, and I believe that this is the greatest album in the history of music.

if you were alive in 1987-88, you had this cassette tape!!! ;)
i was 13 in 1988 and everyone i knew had the appetite cassette tape!! i don't remember the appetite album too much in 1987, but def. in 1988 with it's 3 top 10 hits and vids: [1st vid] 'welcome to the jungle', [2nd vid] 'sweet child o mine', [3rd vid] 'paradise city'; they were all over mtv and the radio stations. @ this time, mtv was strictly vids 24/7. no tv shows or movies, [if they did, rarely, mostly the 'week in rock'] so you would watch something like 7-10 vids per hour, every hour all day and night ;). like a non-stop youtube of music vids & g'n'r would be on something like once an hour 24/7. although the album only had 3 top 10 hits, it's been certified 18x platinum!! & to my knowledge, still the top selling u.s. debut album of all time ;). and def. one of the biggest music momentums i've ever seen.i hadn't listened to the whole album in a very long time, but i just had to re-buy it!! thank god for youtube! the 3 top 10 hits are also good, but i also recommend checking out: 'mr. brownstone', 'nighttrain', 'out to get me', 'it's so easy' and 'anything goes.' since we had no internet and no cds @ this time, when you bought a cassette tape you pretty much listened to the whole album. it was harder to skip songs on a cassette tape than it is today with cds and digital devices ;). but 27 years later, def. one of the best albums i've ever bought, sounds just as good today as it did on my walkman back in 1988 ;).

They messed up for the better!
Bought it, but realized later it said "EDITED" and so, I tried the honorable thing which was to cancel, but the computer wouldn't let me. Fortunately, the disc itself is not the edited version, although the booklet is missing the graphic original "Coop" artwork in which the album itself barrowed it's name.
